  1. Bachsau, I did *not* attach your personality at all, let alone "based on my (your) profile picture. My comment about that image was very clearly a remark relating to the type of response likely to be evoked by the image vis. "I have no idea what it is that you which to portray by your grotesque avatar/profile picture but it is certainly neither appealing or suggestive of friendly and/or helpful communication."
  2. Oh, excuse me for expressing my view. I did not obtain Enpass from a 'Store' but from its own site, several years ago. In addition, although it perhaps would not occur to you, some of us seek minimisation of IT applications, indeed it is one of the attractions of Enpass over other password managers, as has been its not-for-profit and open access origins. My view is that such an option is best placed within the application, hence its results controlled by the development team and accessible, clearly, quickly and directly. Your continuing attitude of condescension to others who, perhaps, do not have skills or knowledge echoing your own or have other needs, wishes or ways of working, are neither appropriate or pleasant. By all means, offer your views as is this forum facilitates. I imagine that you have much of value to offer. However, you could offer it without the arrogance or demeaning of those who know less than you, work differently or have fewer skills and greater confusion with less obvious access to particular features.   3. Include a clear menu option for updating enpass to the latest version on desktop and mobile. Also, provide an option for auto update or manual update. Even better than a menu option would be to include it on the About page.
  4. I have used enpass for at least a couple of years without issue until recently. I think the problem began in early December 2023 but I can't be sure. Previously: If I had once opened and logged into enpass, I didn't have to resubmit my password & use my keyfile to unlock it, providing I hadn't shut down my computer. Instead, I would simply be asked for my pin. Now: Once I have used enpass and minimised it, if I want to use it again I have to go through the whole login process. No option to open with my pin is offered. Mac Mini late 2018, 3ghz i5 6core Intel 32gb DDR4Ram using MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 Can anyone help, please. It is a huge nuisance to have to go through a 3 step process every time I want to check details. Thanks
  5. I used enpass for about 10 months with no problem. I had my keyfile in icloud and after setup was only ever asked for my password to log in. The program seemed to pick up the keyfile without new input. I recently had a computer meltdown and lock out and had to have my drive wiped, reformatted and a new OS installed. I put enpass back and expected it would still find the key as it hadn't moved from icloud. Now, in trying to fix this, I can't find any reference to the keyfile in the preferences or any way to reset it without erasing everything and starting again. I'm sorry if this message is a little garbled - I'm not in a good state after a terrible month or so with disasters. I do apologise. However, if anyone can help I will very much appreciate it.

    SYNCING

    I am attempting to sync enpass between a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro. I have set up each to save the data in my iCloud account. I've used the Tools > Sync menu command but nothing seems to be happening. Both computers are connected to a single iCloud account with the same AppleID & password. They are also connected via a local wi-fi network and both access the Internet through the same router. I would appreciate any advice that may help me to solve this problem. Thanks, roger
  7. Is it possible to change the name of included categories or must I create a new one? If it is possible, how do I go about it?
