About Me

  1. I work as a maintainer in a relatively popular Linux distribution, Manjaro Linux. Currently Enpass is packaged only for .deb and .rpm based Linux distributions. I would like to package Enpass for Manjaro and include it our software repositories. This would require no action from Enpass team apart from consent, because I can simply convert the official .deb packages to our package format. No access to source code or anything like that is needed. However, the Enpass terms of use seem to prohibit redistribution. I tried to contact Enpass via the main page contact form, but there has been no response thusfar. What would be the proper channel to contact Enpass about this matter? I would imagine that Enpass team might agree to this suggestion, because this would be promoting Enpass to a new userbase and not circumventing it's business model in any way. Best regards, Matti Hyttinen
  2. In the latest beta we can see that a lot of features are bound to only be available with a premium subscription, at least on Windows (traditional and UWP installers)? What about people (like me) having a lifetime license for Enpass 5 (Android)? Will Enpass 6 (on Android) be covered by a lifetime license for Enpass 5 or what do we have to expect? Does lifetime mean lifetime of Enpass 5 (which is pretty much over now) or lifetime of Enpass as a whole (Including 6, 7 ...)?
  3. Hej, it seems kinda weird that a security-related application has a dependency on Google's Play Store. I do understand that this makes the whole selling stuff easier, but than at least make it possible to run it in Pro mode without having all the Google toolchain installed on your phone. For instance, I run Copperhead OS for a more secure phone, without all the Google/Amazon etc. stuff. However, this also means that I can't unlock my previously bought Pro version of Enpass. Other apps have a similar selling model but still are able to unlock the Pro version without requiring Google applications, e.g., AquaMail Pro (highly recommended). Feature Request: Make Pro version available without requiring Google tools installed! Possible idea would be to give out (on request) license files signed by a PGP key owned by that you could verify in the App.
