OneDrive synchronization is thrown out

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with EnPass and synchronization via OneDrive for Business.

I bought the Pro version twice and synchronize on 2 different devices using the same OneDrive account.

It happens again and again that EnPass shows the connection to a cloud with a line through it and is no longer connected to the OneDrive folder.

After renewed authentication, the sync works again.
This error occurs frequently.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Best Regards,

Phil

Hey @Phil123

Welcome to the forum!

For quick troubleshooting. disconnect the sync on all the devices and reconnect it again. If your problem persists, please share the following details so that we can investigate where the problem could be.

  • On which all devices and OS versions (mention all) are you using Enpass?
  • Which Enpass version are you using on each device?
  • Please share the error message or code you see during sync?

Thanks!

Hi @ckasprzak,

Sorry for the trouble you are going through.

For quick troubleshooting, please follow these steps:

  • Disable OneDrive sync from Windows Device ( If connected).
  • Disconnect sync in your Mobile, and while disconnecting, select the option to delete data from the cloud.
  • Now set up the sync again on your Windows device.
  • When the sync is successfully connected, enable sync with the Phone.

If the issue persists, please let us know.

Hope this helps!

I just got a new video card and did a re-image of my system and now Enpass doesn't recognize onedrive at all!  Any chance you folks could integrate something like Synology Drive functionality?  Similar concept but I like the personal cloud aspect.

I'll try onedrive one more time after I clean up everything on there. From the looks of it, it was trying to create a Enpass1 folder with the settings on my onedrive.

OK, I may have done it.

I setup Enpass on my wifes machine and it prompted to allow enpass.io access to my ms account. So i went through and cleaned up all approved Enpass in my account and re-approved it.

Seems to be holding this time around.

I'll reply later this weekend or Monday to let you know.

Nope, still having this issue. I will say that I'm not actively using OneDrive on windows. I have a Synology Drive app that replaces it, as I'd prefer to keep my data on my own cloud.

Given that it's only ever happening on my desktop I have a feeling this is probably the reason why.  I have since moved to dropbox, but now have to have an exception setup for while I'm at work.

My question to you have you folks ever looked into Using a Synology NAS as a Vault option?

Hey @ckasprzak

Apologies for the delay in response.

As far as I understood, you have synced Enpass data initially with One-Drive cloud and after the issue occurred with One-Drive, you started syncing with synology NAS using WebDAV. If yes, please follow the steps mentioned in this FAQ to set-up sync with Synology using WebDAV again.

If this doesn't help, share the Enpass version you using on the same device.
