Backup

Featured Replies

I am using Widows 10 and use Auto Backup of passwords to a specified Onecloud folder. In that folder I see the current all the previous backups listed but when I try to open any of them  I get a message that Word cannot open because of missing or damaged data. Is this just a security feature? Will the Restore command in the Enpass app actually work if I ever need it?

Thanks...Robert Smith

Enpass isn't associated with the backup-files if you just double click them. And Word can't open them for sure.

You can (and should occasionally) do a restore to verify them.

That could be done either on another device (with no other Enpass data) or by creating a new, empty vault and choose Restore from backup during creation
