yes, i got the same issue. I got it to work by installing old version, and creating a backup. Then using new version, and importing that backup. But i did notice, the backup function is not safe sometimes. If you want to restore a backup during the initial setup now, it always says: "wrong password". Something seriously weird is going on with backups. Which really should be fixed asap - As this could break users vaults and result in total data loss. If this does not work either, you have to create a new vault, and THEN, in the app, restore the vault. Last resort is, to install old version on a second device, sync your vault to webDAV or cloud. In new version, create empty vault and sync to passwords into it.
