Unlock with TouchID options keeps disabling by itself after a few minutes

Featured Replies

I am an Enpass Pro member and I am currently using Enpass(version 6.3.2 (582)) on my Macbook (version macOS Catalina version 10.15.1)

The 'Quick Unlock' with Touch ID option is being auto-unchecked after I manually enable it. This happens almost immediately after I enable it. Please check the screenshot below. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem. Trying to see if there is a fix to this problem. Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. Please fix this ASAP!!

Same behavior here.

I am also an Enpass Pro member and I am currently using Enpass version 6.3.2 (582) on my Macbook Pro with macOS Catalina version 10.15.2

I'm seeing this problem as well.

I think it's also happening on Windows

Hello all,

A Beta update with the fix for this issue has been released. Please check and confirm, we'll proceed with the release of stable version soon.

Thanks.

Same here, need a fix asap. This slows me down while working.

The beta fix seems to be working for me.  My applications folder had the normal app and the beta so I had to switch to the beta.

It is. I'm on 6.3.2 (592)

The beta seems to work for me.  Downloaded v6.3.2 (599) it prompted me to update to v6.3.2(601). After update to v6.3.2(601) I selected TouchId in prefs and  it seems to be working.  TouchId setting is still persisted after an app restart.  So far so good.

I just tried the beta again, and the process unfolded differently this time -- just as described by twm40. Now the touch-id setting is sticking.

Now, if only the application would go straight to the touch-id verification without requiring the user to click the fingerprint icon.

Yes, I agree, this is the behavior it should have. 1Password does this; no reason Enpass can't.

Beta version did not work for me.

Same Problem here on two different Macs since a few days... annoys me every day many times. :|

When can we expect a fix? I have installed Enpass via the Mac App Store, so no Beta for me. It is really annoying to type in my Master Password multiple times every day..

Thanks for writing back in.

We would like to inform you that if you have enabled the Touch ID, then the app asks for the master password when the

  • System restarts
  • When you quit Enpass and start it again as a fresh app.

However, we do have plans to improve the functionality in future updates.
