+1 for this feature.

Can you give an update on the status? Speaking about this, is there a bug/feature tracking system where we can see the progress of bugs and features? :)

This needs to be fixed.  I picked up the Samsung Galaxy S6 with a keyboard so I can do work without having to lug around my laptop.  I'm in Dex mode when using Remote Desktop and SSH sessions.  Not be able to access passwords while in Dex will be a major nightmare to productivity.

Indeed, what is the status here?

@Vinod Kumar What is the ETA on a fix for this? How come it doesn't work in the first place? It's the only app that I've encountered that doesn't work in DeX. Is this done deliberately ?

Hi,

I use Enpass on my Windows 10 workstations and notebooks and Android smartphones for a long time now.

Last week I replaced my Windows 10 notebook with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 for mobile computing.

The Samsung UI has a Windows-like desktop mode DEX with window support.

Enpass isn´t able to start on it, theres a message that Enpass isn´t able to start in DEX mode - I should switch back to tablet fullwindows mode if I want to use it.

Maybe that´s something for your todo list, would be a bummer if it doesn´t work on Samsung tablets.

Thanks!

Hey @Patrick80

Thanks for using Enpass and writing in.

We appreciate your feedback on the Samsung DEX compatibility. Please note that we already have a feature request for Samsung DEX aligned for implementation in the future. However, we’re not sure of a specific timeline when this will be implemented. If you have any other queries, please let us know.

Thanks.

Would love to see this in Samsung Dex.

Almost all my apps work in Dex, only Enpass not. hope they have a fix soon!

I switched to Bitwarden with bitwarden_rs as docker container for syncing to all devices, it has DEX support and better browser plugin

Hey All,

Thanks for writing to us.

This has already been considered to be worked upon. Hopefully, the same will be available in the future update. Your co-operation will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi @jkr,

Welcome to the forums.

The feature is already in the roadmap, however, we do not have an exact timeline for when this may be implemented. Till then, we will request you to please co-operate with us.

Hi, any updates on this? I believe more and more people use DeX. An update would be greatly appreciated. Would this feature be implemented to test in a beta? If so I'm down to help the team any way I can.

Thanks

For anyone looking into this - just got it to work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ by enabling developer options in the OS settings, and then in the developer options, under 'Apps', enabled the option called "Force activities to be resizeable".

I have also enabled DeX labs, perhaps that helped?

Since then, Enpass has been launching in DeX without issues (autofill seems to work, too).

+1.  I just got a new Samsung device and will be using Dex as my desktop environment going forward.  Having Enpass working is going to be essential to allow for this.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Unfortunately, this method did not help me get Enpass to work on the Tab S6. I think this is due to the fact that your DeX version is more modern than mine on my tablet.

I believe that someday Enpass will finally work in Dex mode!

BTW this is the only kwnon app that doesn't work with DeX... (People write about this fact in their recent reviews about Samsung tablets.)

I'm waiting for this feature too. Please prioritize the native support. Thank you

Any update on this? This is very ennoying at least Enpass could launch as a phone App without resizing...

Many people use Samsung DeX, specially on tablets and in a work environment. Right now the app is not supporting this mode and people always has to turn off the Samsung DeX to login to some app or just to create a new entry on the Enpass app.

Please consider this integration, it could be really helpful.

March 2021 and this feature still not working.

I already crated a new feature request for this, hopefully that helps to has this integration soon.

As other user mention, almost all the apps works on Samsung DeX, sadly Endpass is on the small group that doesn't work with DeX.
