New Android Phone: can't restore /sync Enpass with OneDrive....

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I'm trying to restore / sync Enpass with OneDrive on my newly purchased Android 13 device, running Android 13.

I can sign into OneDrive to authorize Enpass, no problem, But then OneDrive (see attached) will not return to Enpass app as it should.

How do I fit that?

Hi @Captain_Eric

For troubleshooting purposes, please create a manual backup of your Enpass data then follow the below steps -

  1. Remove the synchronization from the connected device and enable the synchronization again.

  2. Could you please check and confirm that the time setting is set to automatic on all the devices and there is no time difference ? If they are not, kindly set it to automatic.

  3. Try clearing the cache and cookies of the browser or use a different browser to set up sync.

  4. Ensure that you have allowed access to Enpass in your Firewall/Antivirus Settings. Moreover, if you are using any VPN service, try disabling it to check if the issue persists.

  5. After creating a manual backup , perform erase everything operation from Enpass Settings → Advanced. Once done, restore the data from the backup file and enable the sync again.

Fixed.

By temporarily switching to Chrome (from Edge) it worked as expected. Switched back to Edge. Works fine.

I have a kind of similar issue on a Motorola G84 running Android 14.
The connection to OneDrive fails in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. OneDrive Authorization succeeds in the Browser and forwards me back to Enpass.
After a few seconds Enpass asks me to authenticate in OneDrive.

It seems like there's an authentication loop occurring with OneDrive. Please try the following steps to resolve this:

  1. Make sure you are using the latest version of Enpass and your browser.
  2. Clear the cache and cookies in your browser and restart both the browser and Enpass app.
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your OneDrive account in Enpass settings.
  4. If the issue persists, try switching to a different network or restarting your device.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please share any error messages or screenshots you encounter, and we'll assist you further.
