Enpass does not come to the foreground when using Mission Control

Featured Replies

Hello Team,

For a while, I don't remember when exactly, Enpass won't come in foreground when using Mission Control.

I use it a lot on my Mac and it's very frustrating. Every time I'm selecting Enpass's main window with Mission Control he stay in foreground for half a second and then return in background.

If i open the preference window of Enpass and trying to select it with Mission Control it work well.

I've just tried to uninstall Enpass (using Pearcleaner) restart my computer  and reinstall it and the behavior didn't change.

Have you any fix or debug step to try to return to correct operation ?

Thanks a lot !

Enpass version : 6.11.2 (1753)

MacOs version : 14.6.1

Hello, just to informe that the bug still persist with MacOS Sequoia 15.0

I have a similar issue in Sequoia 15.0, final release.

The app installed fine, it opens without issues, the browser extensions are working properly (Firefox and Safari), but when the Enpass window is closed (command-W), the application cannot come back to the foreground when called again. It flashes very fast at a rate of 5-10 times a second and the app icon keeps showing up in the dock every time the app tries to come back to the front. This also happens if I option-click on the Desktop to send Enpass to the background.

The only 2 solutions I found are: 1. click on the Enpass icon in the Menu Bar, then click open Enpass. 2. do not close the window app (command-W) but send it to the dock (command-M). It then reopen without a problem like with the command-W method before Sequoia.

Mac Studio M1 Max

macOS Sequoia 15.0 (fresh install)

The same thing is happening on another volume where I had Sonoma installed. Afetr upgrading to Sequoia (no fresh install here), the same behavior described above started to happen. It never occurred with any previous macOS.

Is a solution underway?

macOS 15.1 is not causing the problem to come back here after the update yesterday (v6.11.4).

I know that is not an OS's issue.

I'm just taking advantage of the information to follow up on my problem.
The problem we're having is not quite the same. Mine occurs when using Mission Control. I'm adding a link to a screen recording of the problem.

Hello, just to follow up.

After Enpass update 6.11.7 (1859) the issue is still present

Thanks for the info, Inkx. I will not take the risk of seeing that bug coming back here, so I'll skip that update.
