Passkey missing after importing .json

Featured Replies

I have exported my standard vault as .json and imported it into a new WEBDAV vault. In the new vault, I noticed that all passkeys are missing. Is this a bug or a feature.  Is there a recommendation on how to copy an existing vault into a new vault, e.g. to change the cloud?

Thank you for your help.

Klaus

Currently, exporting passkeys is not available in Enpass. However, this feature is already on our roadmap, but it will take some time to be implemented.

As a recommendation, you can add both vaults to the same device and manually copy items from one vault to another. This ensures that all data, including passkeys, is properly transferred.

Hi Klaus,

If you want to move between cloud solutions you could easily create a new vault at the new location and then just move all your entries into the new location, without the need to export all. Please take a look here, should work in a somehow similar way:

As for losing passkeys, I do think, that this is a kind of feature, but as I don't know how passkeys are handled internally, I can only guess. I'd recommend you rather copying the data than exporting/importing it.
