Cloud Sync

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Nextcloud 19 WebDAV synchronisation. I use the latest Android and Linux version of Enpass with password and key file. After less then one day the sync is broken and Enpass claims that the password for the WebDAV data is required. I already disconnected all devices, deleted the file on the Nextcloud Server and even exported everything to a csv file and created a new password vault. Unfortunately with the same result. After a few hours the sync is broken again. Is that a bug or a known problem with the latest Nextcloud version? Thanks in advance Alex

I get this error code (WebDAV Sync Error with code 904035) on both, a Mac Desktop Client and an iOS mobile app, when I changed the certificate my webdav server from a normal SNI to a wildcard certificate (let's encrpyt). When I change back the certificate to the normal SNI, it directly starts to work again. Any possible explanations? in a browser and when manually checking the wildcard cert, it all looks valid and ok.

  3. Hi, Since Friday my Enpass is not synchronizing with my WebDAV on a QNAP NAS anymore. I have not changed anything. The Enpass Version is still the same and the QNAP NAS still runs on the same firmware with same settings. The only thing that has changed is the renewed letsencrypt certificate which is issued by the new R3 intermediate with ISRG Root X1 authority. I checked if it is a certificate problem by changing the synchronization settings to "ignore SLL certificate verification". Using this setting, the sync was successful. Without this setting it fails with error code "904060". A crosscheck with my browsers on Windows 10, Ubuntu 20.04 and Android shows that every…

Hi together, actually I have the following problem: After connecting with the webdav folder (the permissions are correct) I get the error message "sync error 908417" The problem arises both when I try it in the local network, as well as a dynIP (port forwarding in the router is active - otherwise I would not have been able to connect) Anyone can help?

  5. After Synology pushed a Webdav update to their NAS systems none of my devices are able to sync. All devices say "No data found on WebDAV". On my PC I disconnected and attempted to reconnect and get the error that it could not connect to the specified folder - check password and username. I used the exact same settings to log back in. This connection problem appears on Windows, Android, and iOS. Thank you for any help you can offer!

  7. Hello everybody, First of all many thanks for the almost perfect program ... I have a problem with the latest Wondows store version. Maybe the admin or even a user can confirm the same to me and promise with a solution or a soon FIX? So I am successfully connected to my Synology via WebDAV and syncronize everything with my iOS mobile phone. So far so good. Now I have created a 2 vault, a brand new one. Here I created a password / entry, that worked too. Now I would like to syncronize the second vault with the same or other access data WebDAV (other user on the Nas and this has no access to my main syncron folder) to another local folder on the Synology…

What is the "Password of data?" Is it my OneDrive password, my Enpass password or something else? I had to reset Windows 10 on my Surface Go. I now want to set up Enpass again. When I get to restoring Enpass data from OneDrive (after signing into Microsoft Account) it says I need to be enter my "Password of data," or something like that. Neither password for Microsoft nor Enpass work. And candidly, I don't think I've saved another Enpass related password. (And with the recent OneDrive syncing problems, I know I got through this step somehow). How do I fix this? I'm a little worried. Eric

  9. If I edited a website login via the desktop app when my computer was not connected to the internet, then someone later edited that same website login, via a different 'online' device. What would Enpass do to resolve the differences, between the vault on my computer and the vault in my cloud, when my computer was back online? As the two vaults are now different, does it simply overwrite the entire vault on my computer with the newer 'cloud sync' vault (replacing the changes I made on my computer) or will it merge changes/additions if they are different? E.g. If I changed a login password offline, then later, via a different online device, modified a note (for t…

  11. When backing up and restoring Enpass (local backup file on a stick), not all settings seem to be saved and restored. Especially the settings for the cloud sync imho is important - when installing Enpass on several computers and configuring it via a backup-file, I always have to enter the cloud settings manually each time. They are not included in the backup file. Is there a reason for this or could you please include this in the next update? Imho, when restoring an installation from a backup file, ALL non-computer/workstation-specific settings should be included.... Thanks for considering this!

  12. Hello, I upgraded to 6.0 today and was really looking forward to the vault feature in the hope that one vault would be shared while the other would not. My setup consists of 3 windows devices and 2 android devices (each with their own PRO licence). I managed to generate the new vault but when I come to tell it to sync to the same google drive location I get an error telling me that this is not possible. In my opinion the name of the first vault was system generated while 2nd vault onward require a name. Can't this name be used to generate a unique file name? Thanks and Regards,

I have been using iCloud to sync, but I am unhappy that when the Windows or Linux desktop apps are unable to sync due to expiry of iCloud access, they do not give any warning. (The Mac desktop does give a warning). This resulted in a newly created login which I needed to access away from home was not available as the desktop had not synced. When I checked I found at least 1 weeks worth of updates had not synced. So which sync service have people found to be the most reliable so that I don't have this issue again? Thank you!

Hi! A great feature would be to implement wi-fi sync without using any cloud service. For example, when your phone is connected on the same wifi as your computer, they automatically sync their data. That would be perfect for people who don't trust cloud services and only want their files to be stored locally.

Dear all I have a problem syncing enpass between my laptop (Windows 10) and my phone (Android), and between my laptop and my Ipad. Holding the phone or ipad to the QR-code on the laptop-screen gives an error (it just says that something went wrong during the synchronization). I tried manual sync with my phone and my laptop does appear in the list of available servers (no other servers). However, when verifying the server in the next step, the 6-digit code on my phone does not match the one on the laptop and is also not changing every 30 seconds as it should. So I am not sure which device is causing the trouble. I am just setting up enpass in my Ipad,…

Hello. Enpass cloud sync using OneDrive usually works very well for me. But this morning I experienced the problem of some changes made in the traditional Win32 desktop application not syncing to other devices (Windows tablet and Lumia 950). When I tried manual sync, the phone and tablet would fail repeatedly. "Last attempt" time updated, but "Last synchronized" date remained old. Then, I opened the Windows 10 UWP app on my PC, entered the same changes I had made in the Win32 app, manually sync'ed, then tried to sync the phone and tablet again--and they both worked! So, it appears the Win32 application causes problems with cloud sync in my case--although the cause …
