GregW Posted October 6, 2023 Report Posted October 6, 2023 Enpass on iOS 17 is no longer using FaceID. There is no FaceID option in Settings > Security any longer. FaceID is enabled in the iOS settings for Enpass. Suggestions appreciated.
GregW Posted October 6, 2023 Author Report Posted October 6, 2023 The work around for this bug was to remove and reinstall the app. Once I did this, the FaceID option was restored in Enpass settings. 1
eeyorish Posted March 11, 2024 Report Posted March 11, 2024 I tried this workaround and it did not work for me at first. I ended up turning off Stolen Device Protection, restarting the phone, then re-downloading the app, then on initial start-up, it prompted for enabling Face ID again and the setting now appears in the Security section of the App Settings. After re-enabling Stolen Device Protection, the setting still remains an option. I'm not sure if it was Stolen Device Protection or the restart that made the difference.
Amandeep Kumar Posted March 19, 2024 Report Posted March 19, 2024 This could be due to a system-based setting that sometimes gets reset after an update. To resolve this issue, you may need to set up login with biometric authentication again.
