Arve Posted February 9, 2024 Report Posted February 9, 2024 Hi, I am using Enpass on my laptop running Windows 11, and have an issue related to logging in. I have activated biometry in Enpass, and am offered this opportunity when trying to log in. Buit after having used the biometry I always have to enter the main password (which is a long sentence). Why is that? This worked without problems on my old computer running Windows 10. I have tried to find a setting in Windows 11 allowing me to use biometry only, but no success. Any ideas? Cheers, Arve
Amandeep Kumar Posted February 13, 2024 Report Posted February 13, 2024 We would like to share that Enpass app may ask for the master password occasionally even if the Windows Hello/PIN is set for security purposes. However, if this is happening too often, please try the below troubleshooting steps - Ensure that the Enpass app and Windows OS is up to date. Disable the Windows Hello authentication and enable it again from the Enpass app Settings → Security → Quick Unlock. Create a manual backup of your Enpass data and then reinstall the app. For more information and help, feel free to contact us via the same email, and we will be happy to assist you. Also, visit our user manual. https://support.enpass.io/home.htm
Arve Posted February 13, 2024 Author Report Posted February 13, 2024 OK, I'll give it a try. Thanks, Arve
