Frequent iCloud Reauthentication

Featured Replies

Every few days or so, I get a notice on Empass that I need to Reauthenticate to sync with iCloud. This happens on each computer that I use Empass (iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini). Thankfully, the notice does not appear with such regularity on my iPhones or iPads. While it is somewhat easier to re-authenticate now that I have Touch ID on my computers, it is still an annoyance to have to do it so often. I have tried disconnecting from iCloud, then reconnecting again, making sure that the "Keep me signed in" box is checked, but the re-authenticate notice will show up again in another few days. Is this a bug in Enpass? If not, how do I fix it?

We are trying to replicate this issue on our end. In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and let us know if they help -

  • Remove all cache and cookies from the browser used for iCloud authentication, then try to authorize again, if possible, also try to authorize using another browser.
  • Try to set up sync with iCloud with the same account on another device and observe whether the issue still persists or not.

For more information and help, feel free to contact us via the same email, and we will be happy to assist you. Also, visit our user manual.

I followed your suggestion and cleared the cache on each browser that I use on each computer that uses Enpass. That seems to have done the trick (so far!) and I am no longer asked to reauthenticate as often as before. I hope that the issue has been solved. I will reach out again if the problem comes back.
