Enpass 7?

Featured Replies

I've been using Enpass since it first launched. I was part of the Enpass 6 alpha / beta testing. Since 6 first launched 5ish years ago, there have been a lot of great features added. I've been a Pro member since I started, though recently have considered purchasing the $99 license to try and help with funding for development...

That said, the apps are somewhat in need of a UI refresh. The desktop apps, Linux in particular, but even the mobile apps could use some love.

Is there any work on a major release of, say for instance, an "Enpass 7" release? I know that there are also a slew of feature requests that have been sitting out there for 5+ years where support has indicated it's "on the development roadmap", but not much else.

I do think Enpass is the best password manager out there due to its decentralized data / vault storage strategy and I've gotten many people over the years to switch to Enpass.

But, would be nice to see slightly more active development and communication from the team.

Thanks in advance and appreciate your efforts.

Thank you so much for your long-standing support and valuable feedback!

We appreciate your recognition of the features added over the years and your consideration in helping with the development through purchasing the license. Your points regarding the UI refresh for both desktop and mobile apps are well taken.

As for a major release like an "Enpass 7" or other big updates, while we can't share specifics at this time, rest assured that your feedback has been forwarded to our UI/UX team for consideration. We're always working to improve, and input from users like you helps guide our development.

Thank you again for your support, and please feel free to reach out if you have any further suggestions or questions!
