Recently I've been having a very bad problem where passwords that I have changed recently for some sites eventually get overwritten by older passwords. It seems like when some devices go to sync, they think the older password is newer and they end up overwriting the newer password. I have been able to go back into backups and retrieve the good newer password. So far, I have identified 5 accounts where this is occurring. All were passwords that I changed within the last 3 months. The really strange part here is that it took me going back as much as a month back to be able to retrieve the good passwords. Not all of the good passwords were part of one backup. I had to look at multiple backups to recover the passwords. As part of troubleshooting, I noticed that on one device that even though I had updated the password on another device, it was not syncing on that one device and was keeping the old password, even though it said it synced fine. I use a mixture of devices - several Windows PCs using Windows store app, 3 iPads, 1 iPhone, 1 Android phone, and 1 Android tablet. To try and fix the issue I am going to remove the app from all devices, rename the EnPass folder from my cloud provider, restore from the latest backup that I made after correcting the passwords, and then let it resync back to my cloud provider. This appears to be a pretty bad syncing bug and makes me lose complete confidence with EnPass being able to accurately maintain passwords throughout all of my devices. I have been an EnPass user for users, having initially bought the app across different platforms and again recently bought the one-time plan to get the auditing features. I have also been a big advocate of EnPass to friends and family. However, if EnPass can no longer do part of its basic functionality such as syncing passwords, then the app becomes completely worthless to me. This issue really needs to be investigated. My big ask right now is is there a way to see what passwords I have changed or added in the last few months. This would be critical for me right now to try and identify other accounts that may have possible ran into the same issue and which I have to retrieve the proper password from a backup. BTW I just learned about the password history feature so I may also be using that feature to try and resolve the problem with any additional accounts that I run into the problem with.

I can confirm that after upgrading to version 6.7.4 (934), and then disabling followed by reenabling Windows Hello in the EnPass app, that Windows Hello is now working as expected. After either completely exiting out of the app or after a reboot of the PC, EnPass allows me to continue to use Windows Hello without having to reenter the master password. Thank you for fixing this.

I recently was editing some info in my Google account (updating address, adding credit card) and noticed that it was not working. If I clicked on the Save button on the page, it did nothing. Navigating through the Google pages I ended up noticing that any time I had to submit any type of information to Google, I would get the same problem. Click on the Save/Submit button and nothing would happen. I tried Edge, Chrome, Firefox - all had the same problem. I also tried the various In Private/Incognito modes and still the same problem. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that if I disabled the Enpass extension in the browser, the Google site started to work again and I was able to Save/Submit information. If I reenabled the Enpass extension, the problem came back. The Enpass extension is causing some type of problem on Google's sites that is not allowing submission of information.

Hello @Anshu kumar & @Pratyush Sharma there have been no replies on this for 2 1/2 months. I now have a third machine which was working fine that after reimaging now no longer works. I have to put in the password after reboot, and only then can I start using Windows Hello. Before reimaging I did not have to do this and I was able to authenticate using Windows Hello after any reboot. I will be more than happy to assist on troubleshooting the issue and providing any needed data.

I am also having the problem of Windows Hello not working when first launching the app after first boot. However this problem only started to happen when I had to reimage my laptop. Before reimaging, it worked as expected and Windows Hello would always work, even after reboot. This tells me that my hardware does support the ability to do Full Time Windows Hello, and I can confirm that the laptop has an OEM TPM 2.0 chip that came with the laptop (not a TPM added after the fact). This tells me that it is a problem with the Enpass App, and not with my hardware. I am using the 6.6.3 (836) version of the app from the Windows Store on Windows 10 21H1. Can we know when exactly the update is coming out? This is affecting my ability to sync the password file on about a dozen devices.

After a few months of this issue not occurring for me I hit again today. I am on 6.4.3 (666).

Well I guess its not fixed yet then and I have just been lucky.

I actually have not had the problem in a few weeks (knock on wood). I was originally on 6.4.1 (642) when I was having the problem, and I am now on 6.4.2 (662). Don't know if the issue was fixed in 6.4.2 (662) but I have not had the issue in a while after having it at least weekly (and sometimes more) before.

I would also like to see the feature if Windows Hello is enabled, not needing to retype the Master Password after a restart. This behavior would be similar to my Android Phone and Apple iPad that it always uses biometrics.

Are you having a problem with your OneDrive (Microsoft account) password or your Enpass master password trying to open the Enpass file on OneDrive? It is not clear from your posts.

And the problem has happened again after fixing it earlier...

@Garima Singh and @Pratyush Sharma after uninstalling the debug version and installing the release version, the issue immediately came back. None of my clients are able to sync with the vault on OneDrive due to a bad master password. Do you have a timeframe as to when a fix will be available?

This particular issue has nothing to with Microsoft or OneDrive. I can connect just fine to OneDrive. The issue I am having is that the password up on the sync site no longer works no matter where you try to sync from. If you are having problem connecting to OneDrive I would suggest you post on a Microsoft forum. From the sounds of it it is prompting you for a code from an authenticator but you are putting in a code from an SMS message or vice-versa.

@Garima Singh and @Pratyush Sharma I just had a strange problem which may be related. I uninstalled the debug version followed by deleting the local Enpass folders in Documents. I then installed Enpass version from the Microsoft Store. I opened it up and started the configuration wizard. I told it to sync with OneDrive and it connected to OneDrive with no issue. However when it prompted for my master password, it would not work. What I had to do instead was set up as a new user. When I set up as a new user and it asked me for a master password I used the same master password as before. From there I then told it to sync to OneDrive and it worked. I don't know why it was not taking my master password from the configuration wizard.

Well it's been about 2 weeks and the issue has not happened again (knock on wood). @Garima Singh and @Pratyush Sharma since you appear to know what the problem is and are working on a fix, can I go ahead and uninstall the "debug" version and go back to the release version or will you still possibly need data from me from the debug version? Please let me know. Thank you.

Well I at least think I figured out what was going on with Enpass syncing with my OneDrive for business instead of my personal OneDrive. It wasn't that Enpass was syncing with OneDrive for Business - it was actually syncing with my personal OneDrive. It was that Enpass was saving its local data to my local Documents folder. That folder then automatically syncs with OneDrive for Business. I have gone to my OneDrive settings and switched where to save the local copy saved from my Documents folder to the Documents folder in my personal OneDrive.

So far the issue has not come back, but it has taken up to a week for it to reoccur. My setup is very similar to yours (Windows 10 1909 PCs and Android 9 phones, although I also have iPad tablets).

I only have one vault and one password although obviously I share that vault with many devices (~10). To rule out problems with the files on OneDrive, I did at one point manually delete everything from OneDrive and then resynced.
