  1. Hello everyone, I’m running into a usability issue when logging into PayPal on my iPhone and would like to understand if there’s a smoother workflow. My current setup: PayPal login using Passkey / Face ID on iPhone Additionally, two-factor authentication (OTP) enabled OTP stored in Enpass The problem: When I log into the PayPal app: Authentication via Face ID works fine However, I still need to enter the one-time code (OTP) The OTP is not automatically available (e.g., copied to clipboard) This means I currently have to: Leave the PayPal app Open Enpass Search for the PayPal entry Copy the OTP Go back to PayPal and paste it This feels quite cumbersome. My questions: Is there a way to access the OTP from Enpass without leaving the PayPal app? Can the OTP be automatically copied to the clipboard or autofilled on iOS? Is there a recommended workflow for using Passkey/Face ID together with OTP in apps like PayPal? Are there any iOS features (AutoFill, extensions, etc.) that can streamline this process? I’m looking for a more seamless and efficient way to handle this login flow. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
  2. Hello everyone, I have a question about how Passkeys and two-factor authentication (2FA) with one-time passwords (OTP) work together on Amazon, especially when using Enpass. Currently, I have the following set up on my Amazon account: Two-factor authentication with a one-time code (OTP) Additionally, a Passkey What I don’t fully understand: How do Passkeys and traditional 2FA logically interact? Do I need to disable 2FA (OTP) in order to properly use a Passkey? If so, is my Amazon account still secure enough? Or is it possible and recommended to use both at the same time? I’m also specifically interested in the workflow with Enpass: When I log in to Amazon and 2FA is required, can Enpass automatically provide the one-time code? Is it possible for the OTP to be automatically copied to the clipboard so I only need to paste it? What does the typical login flow look like when both Passkey and OTP are enabled? My goal is to understand the logic behind this and find the most secure yet convenient setup. Thank you in advance for your help!
  3. Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with Enpass on iPhone related to the iOS password autofill feature: When I tap into a login field in an app or browser, then use the keyboard option “Passwords” (lock icon), Enpass opens as expected. However, it always shows the wrong vault. Specifically, it consistently opens the default vault, regardless of which vault is set as preferred in the Enpass settings. I’m using multiple vaults and would like either: the vault defined in the settings to open automatically, or ideally, access to all vaults when using autofill. This issue doesn’t only occur on my device—I’ve noticed the same behavior on several other iPhones where I’ve set up Enpass. Has anyone experienced this or found a solution? Am I missing a setting, or is this a known limitation/bug? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hello, I need urgent help. On my Mac, the desktop version of Enpass is extremely slow and it crashes all the time. (Error reports already sent to Apple several times). I have 11 vaults (matching via WebDAV) and a total of 2300 entries. I wonder if this is too much and how much one vault can handle in entries? Furthermore, I've had the problem three times now that when I crash, the registration for the Pro version flies out and then the vaults are no longer there. I then have to completely uninstall the software and set it up again. This is a pain in the ass! I need help urgently, what is the reason for this. Enpass is the app I use the most during the day. 5. Is it possible to consider this for the future. So that this is programmed for the desktop version? Many providers only show the QR code.
  6. I miss in Enpass the function that I can scan a corresponding QR code on the Mac for the 2FA procedure of one-time code and then directly this is entered into the card in Enpass. Is there a possibility that this is also still built in like 1Password?
  7. Hello, I switched from 1Password to Enpass and now I have a problem with opening attachments on Mac. I have in various cards for example a PDF file (no image). When I want to open that on the Mac, I have to save it to disk first, and then I can open it only. In 1Password I could open it at least with the app "Preview" (press the space bar). Is it possible that here Enpass is rebuilt that I can open data directly? Thanks a lot Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  8. Hi, is it possible, that enpass load the icons of the website or account, which ich use. For example paypal? Until today i use 1Password. And there they load the Icon, after entering the Website URL. Thanks
