Differentiate Login on same IP but with different Port

Featured Replies

Hello

in my homelab i have a lot of services on my server with the same base ip but lots of different ports.

unfortunately enpass shows me all i have saved and it can be confusing which one to use. especially on my phone because i see only the username (often times admin).

can you please change that?

Regards

Jonas

Hi @Jonas88

Welcome to the Enpass Forums.

You can enable the option 'Show Items with Matching Hostnames' in your Desktop Enpass app browser settings and on your Enpass mobile device app under Settings -> Autofill. This option provides the functionality you are referring to (matching port no.)

Hi @Jonas88

For troubleshooting purposes, please create a manual backup of your Enpass data on your iOS device and then reinstall the app. If the issue persists, please share the below details with me an I'll have this further investigated for you -

  1. The version of the Enpass app and OS you are using on your iOS device.
  2. Are you facing this concern on all the webpages or any specific ones? In case of specific webpages/apps, please share their URL/name.

Hi!

Thanks for your response.

I tried your steps but without success.

I'm using the latest iOS Enpass - v 6.8.6 (684).

I do face this issue when connecting to my home server (static ip through browser i. E. 192.168.10.2). I have different services running with different ports that all have different user and passwords. so it's unconvenient that this does not work.

regards

Hello

this is still open. Is there a fix in the pipe?

  • 9 months later...

tested today on ios with 6.11.14.

the issue still exists. the port is not considered at all in the ios-app (even if the exact-host-setting is activated)

it works on maxos but not on ios.

@Abhishek Dewan can you please take a look into it again?

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I’ve shared your observations with our development team for further review. It appears the iOS app isn’t properly considering the port despite the Exact Host setting being enabled, while macOS handles it correctly.

We’ll recheck this behavior on our end and update you once we have more details. Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve Enpass.
