February 16, 20242 yr This is something that has been driving me a bit crazy since the beginning. I add Special Characters to the Titles of Items I want to Display above everything else in the List. This works as expected on Enpass Desktop, but on Enpass Mobile the Default Sort puts Special Characters at the Bottom instead. Please make it so that the Default Sort Lists Special Characters First before anything else. Thanks!
February 16, 20242 yr This is a iOS specific way of sorting, nothing out-of-the-box Enpass could fix. Look into the sorting at your contacts. Special characters also come last.
February 18, 20242 yr Author The assumed "default" sort of iOS has NOTHING to do with this request. This is strictly up to the Developer. There are lots and LOTS of iOS Apps who sort data lists from Symbol to # to Z. The sort for Enpass should be uniform across all platforms. It should also be: Symbol to # to Z. I would also add that Apple's idea of a "default" sort is actually by date created / purchased / etc. Just look at your App Store Purchases... total mess. Edited February 18, 20242 yr by bu11etpr00f

March 8, 20251 yr Author Just following up on this. In the research I've done, it appears that the developer of an app can address this by enabling a default (or user changeable) Locale. e.g. LC_COLLATE=C # (C is ASCII) Thanks! Reference: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/locale/components#3978384
March 18, 20251 yr We’ve designed it to behave similarly to the iOS Contacts app, where special characters appear at the top, just like in the Mac Finder app. #SI-3674
