Cloud Sync

Hello, I have a windows installation of enpass. It is configured to use Dropbox as the primary vault. But instead of using Dropbox as the primary vault, it uses a local vault in the C drive (C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\SinewSoftwareSystems.EnpassPasswordManager_fwdy0m65qb6h2\LocalState\Vaults\primary) as pointed to by the 'Data Location' in the Advanced tab of Settings. Any changes I make seem to be made against the local vault and not against the dropbox vault. I would like my enpass instance to use the Dropbox vault so that i can access it in my mobile also. I have the premium version of enpass. Please advise. Thanks, Suresh.

I get this error code (WebDAV Sync Error with code 904035) on both, a Mac Desktop Client and an iOS mobile app, when I changed the certificate my webdav server from a normal SNI to a wildcard certificate (let's encrpyt). When I change back the certificate to the normal SNI, it directly starts to work again. Any possible explanations? in a browser and when manually checking the wildcard cert, it all looks valid and ok.

Please, What is the most "reliable" sync method.... least issues....

I have a personal enpass pro account. I have the master password in Dropbox (where I originally saved the password and syncro) and now two vaults in Dropbox and later in One Drive (now it's the main one with the same master password) and when I add an item to one vault it doesn't sync to the other (I manually copied all the elements from the original vault to the new one). Can I delete the Dropbox vault and keep the master password and storage only on One Drive without losing the data? I hope I have explained the question clearly. Thank you

Hi, I'm currently trialling Enpass to see how suitable a product it is to replace our current spreadsheet solution that is not fit for purpose and on paper, this product fits the bill in terms of encryption, granular access and various other things. One thing I cannot work out, is how do I actually create a vault directly for a Team? I cannot create a second vault in the same OneDrive account when I try and I cannot see an option to create it directly unless I am missing something obvious! Many Thanks Mike

With 1Password I use to have dropbox maintain a local copy. I would have my vault connect to the local drop box folder (which synced to the cloud) which would therefor be synced across all my device with dropbox and a local copy of the folder. Will Enpass also function this way, or must I provide direct access to the cloud account.

Hi Support team - Over the last 3+weeks - automatic or manual cloud sync not working on Windows 11 Pro. Primary vault is unable to sync with iCloud like before. It keeps trying (synchronizing blue dots circle) to connect to apple cloudkit website but throws network authentication error when correct login credentials are entered. Have tried it on multiple browsers over different days and same error. Note: Between iOS devices - cloud sync is working correctly but not between Windows and iOS devices. Desktop Enpass build version: 6.8.4 (1166) and iOS Enpass build version: 6.8.6 (684) How quickly could this error be fixed? Thanks

One of the most important points here is to move my Enpass password manager, which accesses the vaults via WebDav and runs on all my devices (2x Windows 10, 1x Windows 11, iPad Air4, iPhone 11 and Samsung A52). Hello, I'm having trouble to sync my parent's Android app to their Dropbox file. It gets stuck at 'authentication' and then shows the error message in German along the lines of 'Data cannot be shown due to insufficient access rights'. I originally set up their account and data on the desktop and was then able to sync it to an iphone, however, I'm struggling to sync it to an Android phone. since today i get sync issues with onedrive. error 1204503 on imac m1 with latest enpass desktop version. reconnecting to onedrive does not fix problems. sync errors also on ios device 16.2 with latest enpass version. error here also 1204503

Recently, I pull an older computer out of storage and I resync enpass. Much to my surprise some of the notes I added to the account earlier got deleted and it appears the entry reverted to the older entry. Is there a way to get a history of the changes so I can recover the notes?

Hi, I'm struggeling with the enpass Windows 11 app. After any Windows 11 restart, the sync to the iCloud is lost. I need to sign in every time. This is quite anoying and not really useful. Any idea what the problem might cause? What information is required so someone might be able to help?

Hi there I have Enpass installed on my Macbook and iPhone, but it won't sync to Dropbox on my Macbook. I can confirm this because I added a new password on my Macbook and it's not showing in my iPhone, even when I "sync now" from the overall application or the specific settings for Dropbox. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks!

Hi Since a week or so Enpass is loosing contact to iCloud Drive and I have to reauthenticate it all the time. I believe it is since the suppl. update for 10.15.4. Does anybody have a solution? Guido

Hi everyone, I'm writing because I have a strange sync issue with the app. First of all let me list my current setup to have some context: I mostly use Apple devices (MacBook Pro M1, iPad and iPhone) and a Windows 11 PC. Every device have the latest version of Enpass available, all setup with cloud sync on Google Drive. Yesterday I noticed that some recently updated passwords went back to the old ones. I suspect that one of my devices that I use less (maybe the iPad) pushed an old version of the password database to the cloud without checking if there was a newer version, and that led to new passwords being overwritten. Hi, I setup iCloud sync, which is working great across my Apple devices. I want to share the vault with my wife. I could setup on her Mac, it allowed me to logon to my iCloud account to access the data file. With her iPhone, Enpass does not offer the option to use a different iCloud account, so it just looks at her iCloud account. Hopefully there is a trick to getting this to work?

I have setup a Cloud sync via webdav. The sync works fine. However, if I want to revoke access from a particular user, it doesn't behave the way I would expect. The revoked user can no longer sync. But it doesn't clear their copy of the credentials which was already synced. Is it possible to disconnect & clear that user's vault items?

Hi, in old versions of Enpass, the WebDAV sync worked like a charm. But in the last versions it's broken - which makes Enpass almost useless. Earlier on, I could establish a WebDAV sync but after a while Enpass stopped syncing with the error message that the WebDAV password is wrong. The password didnt change but Enpass didn't accept the correct password without an error message. Deleting the sync and recreating it with exactly the same password worked for a while ... until Enpass once again stopped syncing ... Have owned Enpass for three weeks and have been trying for three weeks to sync the vault from my MacBook Pro to my iPhone - without success. Have tried all methods - three different cloud accounts and wifi syncing. Would prefer wifi syncing and have given Enpass app permission to connect to network but am unable to find the wifisyncserver_bin file anywhere on my computer to also permit it to connect to the network. Really like the app on the laptop, but very frustrated that I can't sync it with Enpass on the iPhone. The manual and troubleshooting guides are of no help.

Hi, since version 6.8 it is not longer possible to restore multiple vaults from the same webdav server. I receive the message that the same account is already connected. But it is not the same account. It is just the same URL to the webdav server. The account has a different username and password. Until version 6.7.4 it was possible to connect to multiple vaults fron the same server. It seems that this version just checks if the server address is already used and not if this is a different account. In 6.7.4 I sync about 8 vaults from the same server

Dear all I have a problem syncing enpass between my laptop (Windows 10) and my phone (Android), and between my laptop and my Ipad. Holding the phone or ipad to the QR-code on the laptop-screen gives an error (it just says that something went wrong during the synchronization). I tried manual sync with my phone and my laptop does appear in the list of available servers (no other servers). However, when verifying the server in the next step, the 6-digit code on my phone does not match the one on the laptop and is also not changing every 30 seconds as it should. Hi, ich habe ein Sync Problem mit WebDav. Ich besitze eine Synology NAS, hier liegen verschiedene Tresore ab. Ein Sync mit verschiedenen Windows-Rechnern ist kein Problem. Jedoch habe ich diese Tresore auch auf 3 verschiedenen iPhones, hier bekomme ich den Fehler 904035. Der Sync ging auch schon mal, es wurde weder die Serveradresse noch Benutzer oder Passwort in letzter Zeit geändert. Ich habe nun schon einige Beiträge gelesen, jedoch weiß ich noch immer nicht ob es an der Application "Enpass" liegt oder am WebDav Server von Synology?
