Cloud Sync

  1. Hi, Since Friday my Enpass is not synchronizing with my WebDAV on a QNAP NAS anymore. I have not changed anything. The Enpass Version is still the same and the QNAP NAS still runs on the same firmware with same settings. The only thing that has changed is the renewed letsencrypt certificate which is issued by the new R3 intermediate with ISRG Root X1 authority. I checked if it is a certificate problem by changing the synchronization settings to "ignore SLL certificate verification". Using this setting, the sync was successful. Without this setting it fails with error code "904060". A crosscheck with my browsers on Windows 10, Ubuntu 20.04 and Android shows that every…

  2. If I edited a website login via the desktop app when my computer was not connected to the internet, then someone later edited that same website login, via a different 'online' device. What would Enpass do to resolve the differences, between the vault on my computer and the vault in my cloud, when my computer was back online? As the two vaults are now different, does it simply overwrite the entire vault on my computer with the newer 'cloud sync' vault (replacing the changes I made on my computer) or will it merge changes/additions if they are different? E.g. If I changed a login password offline, then later, via a different online device, modified a note (for t…

  3. Today suddenly Enpass on MacOS Big Sur, iOS & Windows 10 will not sync with Dropbox. I get an error message 'Password of data on Dropbox is required'. Same on all devices. I enter my password with no effect. I changed the password as prompted with still no effect. Anyone else having this problem? I can sign in to my Dropbox account with no problem and Dropbox shows all features and systems working.

Hi, I use Enpass 6.6.3 and have two "Vaults" (tresor in German) or whatever the english phrase is. Both are synced using iCloud. Now something strange happens: I add a new entry to one of the two "Vaults" sync over iCloud when the other vault is synced, it also contains the new entry! it does not always happen at the first sync. but it happens eventually. this is really strange. This is especially annoying when syncing to other devices, first I thought it is related to that. But it also happens locally...

I'm experiencing the same issue described here on my iOS, macOS and Linux clients, where Enpass asks me for the "changed" password while I haven't changed the password at all: Version info: Nextcloud 22.1.0 Enpass macOS 6.7.0 (875)

HI, I am Windows 11 user. I tried both windows versions (exe and from the store). When I click on Set up Sync, then choose GDrive (or Box, OneDrive...) it shows "You have been redirected..." but it's empty below', only blue dots moving... Same thing with portable version. I have granted permisions to Enpass before. If anyone can help, it should be nice!

  7. Hello, All of a sudden, Enpass 6.7.4 (933) running on Windows 10 cannot sync with my OneDrive account anymore. I click "set up sync," authenticate at login.microsoftonline.com for my OneDrive account, am taken to the "Authorization Finished!" screen where it then redirects back to the Enpass app. But it continually just says it can't verify. I have logged out and in a few times, and I've closed out Enpass completely and reopened. Not sure what else to try. Side note, "credintials" is misspelled in the error message.

Synology: DS…

Dear all I have a problem syncing enpass between my laptop (Windows 10) and my phone (Android), and between my laptop and my Ipad. Holding the phone or ipad to the QR-code on the laptop-screen gives an error (it just says that something went wrong during the synchronization). I tried manual sync with my phone and my laptop does appear in the list of available servers (no other servers). However, when verifying the server in the next step, the 6-digit code on my phone does not match the one on the laptop and is also not changing every 30 seconds as it should. So I am not sure which device is causing the trouble. I am just setting up enpass in my Ipad,…

  12. Hello, I have a windows installation of enpass. It is configured to use Dropbox as the primary vault. But instead of using Dropbox as the primary vault, it uses a local vault in the C drive (C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\SinewSoftwareSystems.EnpassPasswordManager_fwdy0m65qb6h2\LocalState\Vaults\primary) as pointed to by the 'Data Location' in the Advanced tab of Settings. Any changes I make seem to be made against the local vault and not against the dropbox vault. I would like my enpass instance to use the Dropbox vault so that i can access it in my mobile also. I have the premium version of enpass. Please advise. Thanks, Suresh.

  13. Hello, Some time ago I've noticed, that my Linux instance of Enpass is out of sync, so I've tried to reconnect it to my Dropbox. On all other devices (Windows 11, Android, iPad OS) the syncing is working, but on Linux I'm stuck with an error "The request timed out when trying to connect to Dropbox". Now I did a lot of Internet searching and reading and I've already addressed some issues like: * trying different browsers to authenticate * setting automatic time check (NTP through systemd-timesyncd.servic) * disabling firewall and VPN Nothing is working for me. I'm not sure if it's a KDE nad XGD-dependent problem (as someone stated on the Web),…

  15. Hi, after ONE successful sync after connecting to OneDrive, Android app stops syncing with OneDrive. After setting up the sync, it works fine one, but ALL further sync operations fail. I know this because the "Last synchronized" is the time when I set up the sync, and the "last attempt" keeps in changing, but "last synchronized" never changes after the first sync during the setup. AFter some time, Enpass starts to show error "Not able to connect to OneDrive. Please check Internet connectivity. Error Code:-113". If I do DISCONNECT and reconnect it again works great once. Enpass for Android is v. 5.5.6. Same issue occured on my Nexus 6P on Android 7.1.2, but…

Dual cloud sync possible? Hello, Following more users' concern on iCloud sync on windows I am discussing the following setup: a windows desktop, and all others Apple devices: MacBook, iPhone, iPad. All Apple devices use iCloud sync. In order to add the windows desktop to this, a sync link should be added. Between the desktop and one of the Apple devices, possibly iPhone. This should be done via a sync method supported under windows, e.g. Dropbox. This means that the iPhone will have two sync links, via iCloud and via Dropbox. Or, alternatively, the link between the windows desktop and the Apple group may simply be an occasional Wifi backup/restore. …

Running Enpass v5.6.3 (139) on macOS desktop and v5.5.6 on iOS. I have been successfully syncing to a Nextcloud instance for quite some time. I just upgraded the Nextcloud instance to V13 (from V12) and Enpass sync no longer works. No useful error messages and nothing relevant in the Nextcloud logs, the Nginx access log lists: "PROPFIND /remote.php/webdav/ HTTP/1.1" 207 5488 "PROPFIND /remote.php/webdav/Enpass/ HTTP/1.1" 207 848 and nothing else related to Enpass. All other Nextcloud functions, including WebDAV file sync with the Nextcloud client are working normally.

  18. It used to be possible to sync Enpass with the Onedrive of a different user. This is no longer possible, when setting up the Onedrive sync it opens the Edge browser with the Microsoft account of the current Windows user and it is not possible to change this. This is a major problem for me because I use the same Enpass problem at home and at work. At work I use a different Microsoft account.

  19. With this new update my cloud sync was disabled so I tried to set it back up. When trying to do so, I get the error saying : "Sync Error. Password of Data on Google Drive (or Dropbox) Required. I've tried my enpass password and all variations of my dropbox and google drive passwords and nothing works. you have a "help" button that leads to a dead link. What is going on? Why can I not sync my data anymore? both my android app and desktop app are up to date with the most current version as far as I can tell since I updated them today.

  20. On my laptop and desktop PC's I set up the vault location to a custom folder in my Google Drive. On the android version however, I cannot select a custom file path, instead it uses a hidden App folder within Drive, which is inaccessible from anything other than the android app. Am I missing something, or is syncing a vault to multiple devices impossible?

Hi together, actually I have the following problem: After connecting with the webdav folder (the permissions are correct) I get the error message "sync error 908417" The problem arises both when I try it in the local network, as well as a dynIP (port forwarding in the router is active - otherwise I would not have been able to connect) Anyone can help?

If not, how can I accomplish the ability to access both accounts from my Windows computer? Don

I'm a new Enpass user attempting to set up sync to my own WebDAV server. I seem to be connecting, but the sync fails every time with error code '904405' both from Windows (10) and Linux. I have verified that the time is set properly on the server and all systems. This error code does not seem to be documented anywhere. What should I try?
