For now，all the discussion is about how impossible to crack the encryption files or the Master Password. I just want to know, if my PC have infected with a virus which can record my keyboard operation .It would be very insecure. What technical measures does Enpass have to prevent keyboard viruses? I am trying to reset my password after a security breach on my MacBook Pro. I understand I have to go to Settings in Enpass to Reset the master password. I however can not find Settings in Enpass. Can someone please direct me? I am anxious to change the password quickly as I donot know how much exposure Enpass is up to. Thank you Martin Weiss

I use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a backup of my hard drive. The encrypted backup is put in a bank vault for safety. I noticed today that CCC copies the Enpass folder in my Home folder, but the "Backup" and "Vaults" folders on the backup are empty. I can manually drag the files over to the backup drive, but I'm wondering why this is happening. Is there something special about these folders that causes CCC to ignore them? Time Machine seems to copy the Enpass files without issue so this definitely a CCC or Mac OS thing. Thanks!

Hi there, I've been an avid Enpass user for many years and I love how it keeps improving! Recently though, I had a scare: Enpass core-dumped. This likely wasn't Enpass' own fault as it had been pretty stable until I upgraded my machine to Ubuntu 22.04; after the upgrade, I experienced a definite uptick in crashes with a number of apps that were running fine before. There are always unforeseen circumstances, and if your site suddenly becomes unavailable, there should be a backup site for downloading installation files. Create a GitHub account and distribute your releases there. Downloading from a third-party site (softportal, softpedia) is not safe, but it’s safe to download from an official github account.

Is it possible to set the PBKDF2 iteration count in Enpass? I can see here it's set to 100K: https://support.enpass.io/app/kb/data_security_and_encryption_in_enpass.htm But is it like that for all vaults? My vault is several years old and I've seen old forum threads where it says it used to be 24K iterations. Does Enpass ensure that a corrupted database is not synced to the cloud? I want to be sure what happens in the worst case and if my database is corrupted somehow having that broken database synced to the cloud and thus overwrite a good version would be really bad. Since I can only sync to one cloud provider I'd have no way back in this case.

Hi, I have several files with the extension ".enpassattach" and I need to decrypt them. I already have the original master key used to encrypt the vault. Is there any way to decrypt them ? Or re-import them to Enpass again ? Thanks.

How do I remove all data and any evidence of Enpass on a MAC (that I will no longer own) but ensure it stays with me on other devices? (I use it in iCloud to sync my use of Enpass on different devices).

Last week I had enpass running on 2 computers, (one Ipad and one laptop). Yesterday my laptop crashed spectacularly after Windows update, it was still under guarantee, so they straight away replaced it. However, my Enpass is still on there (along with everything else). I am currently changing all my passwords, but wondered if it is possible to stop access to Enpass from the old laptop when they eventually repair it. I have revoked access from the cloud, is that enough? Hoping someone can advise.

I can access the Admin console but cannot find any explanation of Enpass Hub. Is it possible to disable Most Frequent in v6? In v5 I could do it, but I cannot see how to do it in v6. It's a BIG security risk, in my opinion.

Hello, Is there a way to disable autofill from prompting when using the Google Messages app on Android? I am using a OnePlus 7T running Android 10. If I turn off Autofill in Enpass it does not show up. But I need it to prompt for the other apps. Thank you.
