I haven't found this option - but sometimes I need to add fields in items already created. It would be great if i can add it just once and export it on my selected item and not go on each item to recreate the field

Hi there, Just a simple request: That Enpass has the ability to generate custom keyfiles. By default, Enpass estimates certain policies for its generation (128-bit or 256-bit), and as an option, it can be of almost any type of file extension (which is not so obvious, for advanced users). Even if it may be possible to use images with hidden text (steganography), either generated within the same Enpass or by third-party software. Hello, i was using enpass to store password manually for quite a while and for that i do really like it. To store my website logins or apps password i used Samsung pass. But recently i tried enpass autofill feature, it is good but there is one feature missing which really frustrates me and that there is no option for adding new website logins at the time of login/signup in browser instead i have to switch to enpass app add the logins(username, password, website) and come back to the browser and then use enpass autofill feature and if that was not enough once again i have to search for that website name and select it, it will not show any matchs for the website. In response to this topic: I think an NFC tag/sticker with the keyfile is a good feature. I like to keep the keyfile seperate from my device. Maybe we could also encrypt the keyfile on the nfc tag so it will be decrypted on the device.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm simply using Enpass 'wrong', but I find the process of creating a new website login card in Enpass quite clunky. I'm using Enpass on Windows 10 with new Edge browser (primarily) and sometimes Chrome. I understand that if I go to a website and register a new account, Enpass will prompt if I want to save that. However, I've already had to go into Enpass and manually create a new Login card so that I can generate a strong password! Ctrl+U is a common shortcut to delete the current line. This shortcut is already support by Enpass while using the search toolbox. But if Enpass is locked and you have to re-type your password - Ctrl+U is not supported on the password field. It is very annoying if you mistyped a long password and you have to delete all characters one by one.

I just discovered hotkeys Ctrl+<up> and Ctrl+<down> for navigating in the left sidebar. But Ctrl+<key> skips sub-tags and imploded menus, so one has to expand them beforehand. Why not add Ctrl+<left> and Ctrl+<right> to expand nested tags as well as imploded menus so we can see everything without interacting with the moues? Thanks in advance

Hello, Is it is possible to automatically extract and unpack the database so that the database file gets smaller? Or does this cause problems with sync?

It seems logical that when I click on a top-level tag, the items of all sub-tags should display in the item list. Without this, I need to click each sub-tag to view the items within. At times it would be great to view all sub-tag items in one list when a top-level tag is selected.

I have recently migrated 703 items from Datavault to enPass and although I am enjoying the enPass experience, I badly miss the ability to group things in sub-categories. I have had to reconstruct my collection into Tags and sub-tags, which is ok, but sub-categories would be cleaner. Will you consider adding sub-categories as an option? Thank you Gary

Hi, apart from that, it is a practically perfect and complete password manager, I have been using it for 3 years and I am completely satisfied, although in this period I have tried many others, enpass is the best. I would like to highlight only one critical issue. Regarding browser, I would like it not to ask for the main password and every reboot because it is tiring. In my case of daily work on the PC and my ability to reboot several times and having to put every time the password becomes repetitive and tiring. I would like you to add the option to choose the order to never block the browser as other managers do. Thanks so much for your understanding and good work

On iPhones, we are able to restore passwords without using cloud services. If this can be extended to sync passwords between devices (phones/tables/laptops) that would be awesome. I really don't trust any of the cloud services but there is no way to sync without using one onto phones or tablets.

Hello, I've been using Enpass for around a day now and have some feedback to give which will hopefully be implemented to improve Enpass for the convenience of everyone. Add an option to keep the Enpass vault unlocked until you end your current browsing session: Say I login to Enpass while my browser is open Enpass will remain unlocked until I close the browser, once I close the browser Enpass will lock itself. Similar to how Enpass will lock once you close the Enpass window however with a browser instead. Hello, I'd like the option to select the default browser between several installed in my iPhone, I'd like to use other than Safari but not option to select another. Thanks

I know it may not see like that big of a deal. But it would be really nice if after entering and submitting your password in the Desktop App, if you would have an option to have it auto-minimize to the tray. Consider that when you initially unlock the app after startup, it is usually not so you can manage the passwords.

Hello, This would be a great time saver, if specified fields could be duplicated in edit mode. Further missing features: - while editing a field name or type in the fly-out window, the changes cannot be applied by pressing the enter button. - while editing field entries, the arrow-up or arrow-down keys cannot be used to send the cursor at the beginning or the end of the line. - while editing the password, no "select all"-keyboard shortcut can be used.

I came over to enpass.io from DataValut, and DataVault had a great feature to "copy without spaces". E.g. if you have your bank card number in DataVault, "1234 5678 9901 1123", "Copy without spaces" would copy "1234567899011123" into the clipboard instead of "1234 5678 9901 1123". This was fantastic as it kept numbers more human-readable in DataVault, but allowed them to be keyed without spaces as is required by many sites. Can this be added to enpass.io?

When signing up for new apps or for website on Android it would be very handy to have the option to generate the password as an option. This is currently unavailable, or only accessible by opening the Enpass app, copying the password and pasting it into the form of the app/website. By the same token the onscreen keyboard for Enpass, should also have a key that allows this option. Thanks

Backup Frequency I want to schedule daily/weekly/monthly backups. Or tell us when "auto backup" decides to backup. Backup Limit/Retention Policy I want to limit/retain the auto-backups either by time or number. For example: A) Only keep X number of backups. B) Do not keep backups older than X months. C) Fancier policy: Daily Backup + Weekly Backup + Monthly Backup + Quarterly Backup + Annual Backup. Thank you.

Sometimes I have multiple items that have some data in common. It would be nice to have a feature to duplicate an item so that one only need only edit the differences rather than retyping data and possibly making mistakes. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Peter

In this time of everyone wearing masks it would be nice to have the use of both Face ID on iOS (or windows hello) AND the PIN code. When I’m at home I use Face ID but at work and outside I have a mask on and would rather not enter in my very long master password.

I love your software on iOS and Mac Safari. A few suggestions to improve the Mac experience please. Each of these are very small 'quality of life' changes please and I hope you can deliver on them. 1. When using the safari autofill, and upon selecting a login item from browser extension -> if I press Cmd+E to open the same item in the desktop app -> it should directly open that item on Mac desktop. When I log into a site using the browser saved password and that I have saved in Enpass, the pop-up for Enpass still appears. Is there a way to disable the pop-up from appearing if the browser login credentials match a known entry so that we do not have to close the pop-up to get it off the screen?
