Feature requests

Sort login items by Date Created, Date Modified, Password Strength etc Store and fill ID – the identity details of the person – Name, address, phone numbers, email address, date of birth etc etc. Allow for multiple ID’s eg: Personal ID details. Work ID details, ID with different address (such as at the weekender)

I would like to see, if not the desktop client, at least the browser plugin. I am on a TrueOS (FreeBSD variant) desktop machine, and when I tried to install the Firefox version on my Firefox 53.0.2 installation, it said the browser was incompatible. I have an almost even split on my network between BSD and Linux, so any solution I choose must have a BSD component. Is there a BSD version in the cards?

I would like to suggest removing the need to hit the Enter key when entering in a PIN, and possibly also Password, to unlock Enpass. Hitting the enter key here is a completely redundant step when entering a password into an application, especially the PIN option after having already unlocked Enpass with Password at least once since launching it.

I really like Enpass, and currently use it for multiple devices. I just ordered the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2017), however, and found out you guys don't support their app store. Most of my critical apps now do, so please add me to the list of customers requesting this (given the price of the Fire tablet, more customers likely will). If there was an alternative way to install the APK from ADB as a temporary workaround, this would be nice as well. Another one of my apps supports this.

I'm loving Enpass and would appreciate a portable version of the desktop manager that can be used without administrative privileges (for those of us who want to use in an environment without such privileges - i.e. at work or at a library). I don't think that's counter-intuitive to the basis for EPM - i.e. to store passwords locally - as I believe those could be stored on a USB and/or synced/pulled with/from one's cloud storage syncing solution of choice. Please consider

I'm a relativ new Enpass user but satisfied with apps for Windows desktop, UWP and iOS. That I'm missing on the UWP app is a button to copy the field values (like user name, password etc). On classic desktop such a button exist and on iOS a simple copy command is also available. But in the UWP app I had to use the context menu which is working but not comfortable in a touch usage. Would be nice to see this little improvement soon implemented

There are some sites and apps that uses Google, Facebook, etc. as login, for those it will be great if one field could be used to link to the entry that has the password (like Google). Thanks - Javier

Any chance your Enpass developers could create a 2-Step Verification feature to be used within the Enpass app, rather than us having to use Google or some other alternative third party app for our 2 step (factor) verification logins. It makes sense to have that within Enpass, plus it would allow us to backup and encrypt our verification codes within the Enpass encrypted database. Just an idea.. What do you think?

Hello, basically I love to use Enpass and got the mobile app, but I've noticed that the browser extension displays commonly and recently-used login items first and this quite hurts my privacy and usage of Enpass. It would be great if I could exclude entries from showing up there without searching or if the extension had an option to sort it alphabetically like the main program.

I have a lot of passwords/items and try to use MFA where I can. If there was a view that I could click on to show all accounts that support MFA/2FA or an icon/note on the detail page this would help me identify and setup MFA on other accounts. I normally use this site to identify sites but its not exactly easy to use or identify the sites I use. https://twofactorauth.org/

To edit an existing login, I have to click the drop-down arrow, then click "Show Enpass", then find the login, then click the Edit button. Why isn't there an edit button right there in the applet menu like in 1Password?

I am using Enpass with a tiling window manager on Linux. Due to the nature of tiling window managers, there is no such concept as "Minimize windows". So after starting Enpass automatically on login, it spawns the systray icon and the main window, and ignores the "Minimze to tray" setting. I have to manually kill the window to persist the systray icon and not having a momentarily useless window on my desktop. I know that my use case (Linux with tiling window manager) is somehow special, but this problem is well-known among the users of tiling WMs. So i am asking for maybe a command line flag which one can pass to the Enpass binary which results in Enpass not drawing …

Please add support for team use either as a separate web-base product or via a file share.

Using the OneDrive sync function in the Windows 10 app creates a new folder: C:\OneDrive\Enpass. It would be great if the standard folder for Windows 10 apps were used instead: C:\OneDrive\Apps\Enpass. Even better: have the Windows 10 app use the same folder as the desktop client does for syncing. This would ensure full synchronization between the Windows 10 app (tablets and mobile) and the desktop client (PC). Can this be implemented?

I'm migrating over from 1Password, which has a feature to toggle auto form submission on a per-login basis. Near as I can tell, Enpass can only do this as a global on/off toggle. While 99% of the sites are ones I want auto-submitted, there are a handful where I need to enter other information that Enpass doesn't cover prior to submission. For those, it would be *very* handy to turn off auto-submit for just those sites. Thanks!

Please make your Safari extension also available on Apple's Safari Extension Gallery (https://safari-extensions.apple.com). The advantage of having it there is that it updates automatically and it gives extra peace of mind knowing that it passed Apple's standards. The extension of your main competitor is. You should definitely add yours too. To be honest, I only use Safari extensions that are on Apple's Safari Extension Gallery, for the reasons I just pointed out. Edit: Never mind. I just noticed it is there. For some reason they first time I search for Enpass in the Safari Extensions Gallery, nothing came up. Keep up the good work guys!

When I am using iphone safari to make new account for any websites by using enpass, there are some issues for filling their ID, PW field by enpass It is really uncomfortable for making new account in iphone with using enpass to save my ID, PW. (Especially I always use random PW) I would like to explain making new account process how I am used to do. Get into websites making new account -> click safari extension and fill all of information in enpass -> comfirm -> However in here, enpass fills my ID, PW information to other field, not ID, PW field. I looked around and searched to see if this had been suggested before and I couldn't find it but it seems like this should have been requested before... The one things that's missing for me is limiting what symbols are used in a password. It's annoying when certain sites limit what you can use and then you have to in turn either keep generating random ones until you get lucky or just remove them completely. Thanks!

It would be really nice if you could copy multiple fields in a password object once so it will be easier to use Enpass in a native application where Enpass not able to autofill. Scenario: 1. You launch ie Spotify application 2. You open Enpass (short key?) 3. You enter Master/Pin code if needed. 4. You enter Spotify in search field 5. You press arrow down to mark Spotify item and copy the item (ctrl+shift+c?) 6. In the Spotify app, first ctrl+v paste username, second ctrl+v paste password

I've recently attempted migrate over to Enpass but failed due to the TOTP or One time password field failing to migrate over as well. I followed the instructions found here: https://www.enpass.io/docs/desktop/import_1password.html#step-1-export-data-from-1password for importing data from 1Password. I created the .1pif file as requested and most everything imported properly. I'll note that many tags migrated over that are unnecessary but those don't break things. The thing that doesn't work, and causes issues in the app itself is the failure to migrate TOTP fields over. Typically the field reads OTP : otpauth://totp/<removed>, and as a text field. I would like to suggest having separate encryption for cloud syncing . This would enable have a really long password for the cloud. I use a non trivial password, but it is not nearly as secure as a random 30 character mixed case and symbols would be. mSecure currently has this feature but is dropping cloud sync with its next release. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement but since you already use a separate file for sync I hope it would be easy enough to add to your road map. It would give me a better sense of security knowing my cloud file had a very secure password.

Option to store (and protect of course) Pictures - Photos or Images on Enpass Store pictures like "Secure Photo" (mimiking Secure Note) or something like that Store pictures as "New Items" ... when you add a new item, another in the list can be "Picture" But even more, every type of added element should allow to add a picture, that's useful for example for when you add a credit card, a club card, a check, a bill, a handwritten note... etc. maybe allowing to add it as a "custom field" thought "add new field" action.... there is a "Field Type" Thats my request

On the Windows client, it would be nice to include search filters for password only, url only, etc.. This would speed up searches. Also, it would be really great to restrict search results when browsing in a subfolder or tag.

Change the context/right click menu so that a single click of a website automatically opens it. Often I end up clicking other links because it's currently clunky. First I single click and it only highlights, then I double click accidentally clicking whatever is behind the context menu.

Anybody try to get this working on FreeBSD? I've been looking for some kind of password manager for FBSD that also works on Linux/Windows/Mac, etc.
