  1. My dropbox file has a last modified date of 2020.09.28 0557 MST. This is happening with Enpass Desktop for macOS Catalina (v6.5.0-700) and Windows 10-1909 (v6.5.0-700), and for the iOS 14 App (v6.5.2-487). I can log into the app on any device, it will not sync. If I input the Master Password after hitting "Resolve Now", it says "Incorrect Password". However, if I go to change the Master Password (to the same one), it will allow me to do so successfully.

Before this issue started, I changed nothing, moved nothing.

There are at least two other reports on the forum of similar issues starting at about the same time. There is definitely something not right. Could be dropbox...

  2. @Garima Singh

I listed the Enpass version I am using in my original post (6.4.2 (632)). I am using macOS 10.15.

No, there is not "any two heading fields named as "Field1 and Field 2" in the imported file".

I have attached a screenshot of sample header for items I have imported.

Please test this and duplicate this for yourself. Use any template you like, and import it as "Other Miscellaneous". It'll import your data correctly, and afterwards, if you go to edit an imported item, you will see the empty Fields "Field 1" and "Field 2". I have done this several times with the same results.

For obvious reasons, my screenshot does not have any actual data below each column. B|

  3. @Garima Singh

I am reporting a bug. Please do not mark this thread as being "answered" simply because you referenced my added feature request to import using a custom template...

Please re-read my post. I AM using the Desktop version of Enpass...the only version allowing you to "import from a Pre-formatted CSV". Again, the issue / bug is:

    • When importing a Pre-formatted CSV as "Other Miscellaneous" Enpass Desktop ADDS empty Fields "Field 1" and "Field 2" to ALL imported items.

  4. Importing a Pre-formatted CSV as "Other Miscellaneous" Adds empty Fields "Field 1" and "Field 2" to ALL imported items.

I am guessing this is because the built-in template for "Other Miscellaneous" has "Field 1" and "Field 2" as generic Fields to "get you started"??? I believe removing these Fields from the "Other Miscellaneous" Template would resolve this issue.

    Using: Enpass 6.4.2 (632)

On a side note: it would be nice to be able to select a Custom Template for importing items. B|

  5. Exporting to CSV on macOS does not work. Export to TXT and JSON both work.

The only reason I am trying to Export to CSV is to get the Enpass FORMAT for the CSV. I want to import my Data from mSecure, and have LOTS of custom fields/types. I have over 2500 records in mSecure. I do not want to have to go through each record to move data from "Field 1" to "the correct field" for every record.

I tested importing Credit Cards from mSecure, and none of the data went to the correct fields. :/

This is the same issue as reported here:

  6. It would be nice to be able to create, change, edit the Types / Category Templates in Enpass. Currently I use mSecure, but am looking to make a switch. I really like that mSecure is more like a custom secure database builder than just a secure password saver, and I think Enpass has the potential to be better than mSecure, but being able to edit the Types / Category Templates is one thing Enpass desperately needs.

I know you can add fields to each item when you create them, but I'd really like to set custom templates for items to use and get rid of the ones I don't want. Currently I have over 2000 items in mSecure, most of which use custom item templates. I would like to use Enpass to do the same. :)

Unfortunately mSecure has become over-priced when using multiple platforms, and currently utilizes over 90% CPU usage in macOS 10.12 Sierra when sitting idle. I think it might also be lacking in support.
