Enpass Extension for Microsoft Edge Browser

Why isn't this also being developed for windows universal? Windows universal is miles behind the desktop version. It not fair for us paying members

We understand how eagerly you must have been waiting for this. The development of Edge Extension with UWP is taking longer than expected because of lack of the necessary APIs in Edge extensions architecture to make stable connection between App and Edge browser. We are working for a better solution to make them available for Enpass users. Till then please bear with us.

I have tried everything to get the edge extension to work with Enpass Desktop with no luck. The icon appears in the edge browser and is enabled in Enpass desktop but when I click the Enpass extension in the edge browser, nothing happens. I have followed all steps included in the readme.file.

Any help would be great.

In order to help you with it, we're going to need a little help from you. So please let us know:

• Which version of Windows OS are you using?
• Which version of Enpass are you using?
• What error message/code are you getting while using the extension? 
• Are you using an anti-virus?
• Are you facing the same problems with other browsers (Chrome/Firefox)?

It's time for some good news! The development of Enpass supporting the Edge Extension is already done and it's almost through the Alpha Testing. Hopefully, we'll be rolling out the Beta soon. We'll keep you posted, so please stay connected on Twitter.

Hi, is here some chance that will be in future for UWPversion chrome extension too? Or on 100 percent no?

Hey @PepeCZ

We would have added support for browser extensions in UWP app but technically it's not possible to do so due to the lack of required APIs in Windows Universal Platform architecture to establish a stable connection between Enpass UWP app and any third party app. However for Chrome you have to have use the traditional version of Enpass.
