cjkessler Posted July 7, 2016 Report Posted July 7, 2016 I purchased the Pro edition, when I go into Security I am missing the option for Fingerprint. Am I not looking in the right place?
Anshu kumar Posted July 7, 2016 Report Posted July 7, 2016 Hi @cjkessler, Sorry to hear about the trouble. I would like to let you know Enpass supports fingerprint only in Samsung devices and devices that have Android Marshmallow Fingerprint API. Please let us know which Android device are you using, so that we can help you in better way.
cjkessler Posted July 27, 2016 Author Report Posted July 27, 2016 Sorry for the delay. I have an LG G4 on ATT if that matters. I am on Android 6.0
Anshu kumar Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 Hi @cjkessler, Thanks for you reply. I would like to let you know that Samsung and Nexus devices with Android Marshmallow have provided Fingerprint API in their SDK for the fingerprint sensor, but LG G4 doesn't provide any SDK for the same, so we can't support it until it is available for us to integrate. Cheers!
cherish tota Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 I am using a Lenovo vibe X3.. how can i use the fingerprint feature..?
Anshu kumar Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Hi @cherish tota, As already mentioned, On 7/7/2016 at 10:31 AM, Anshu kumar said: Enpass supports fingerprint only in Samsung devices and devices that have Android Marshmallow Fingerprint API. In your case (Lenovo vibe X3) doesn't provide appropriate APIs for the same, so we can't provide fingerprint integration.
