OTP - 2FA Codes not accepted after setup succesfully

Featured Replies

Hi,

This happened to me twice now; I can enter the One-time code or scan the qr-code when enabling 2FA. I can confirm with the given 6-digit code and save. But, when i want to sign in, and use my OTP which is given by the app (on desktop or iOS, doesnt matter), it fails. As i said before this happened to me twice. This time its with github, and previously with blockchain.com. Luckily github uses recovery codes, but with blockchain that was not the case. I have paid for Enpass Pro. Why is this happening?

Hi @Pomtiedom,

Welcome to the forums.

This problem surfaces when the date and time on your device are not accurate. Please make sure date and time preferably set to automatic. If the issue persists, revert to us.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Pratyush Sharma,

Thank you. i've been noticing a couple of times that my time was off by 1 hour. That was the issue. I am able to use github with my 2FA enabled again.
