Welshdog Posted July 27, 2021 Report Posted July 27, 2021 Hello, I am moving over from 1Password and I had an idea I wanted to try with Enpass. I want to create a Secondary vault that only lives on my Mac and does not sync to the cloud. The Primary would sync to the cloud and would handle all non-sensitive data and logins - the everyday stuff. This way, the Secondary vault and it's sensitive data would stay off the cloud and ease my mind a bit. Plus I could sync the Secondary to a Flash drive and put it in my safe deposit box. Is this something that would work, and is it recommended?
Gulshan Dogra Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Hi @Welshdog, Welcome to the Enpass community. Enpass gives you the freedom to store your backups anywhere according as per your choice. As you are not syncing your secondary vault with any cloud service so it is wise to keep a backup manually somewhere just as you mentioned. Thank you. 1
