Bambi
Dear Community, I can not choose the data location on my MacBook macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Because the "browse button" is greyed out, see the attached screenshot. What else can I do??? Thank you for your help in advance.
Discordant
How is the USB stick formatted? FAT32/ExFAT, NTFS, HFS+, APFS? (Use Get Info while tge usb stick is the primary focus in the Finderto check.) Are you able to write files to the USB stick on your Mac?
Bambi
Hello, I formatted the USB Stick in FAT32 and ExFat and HFS+ but none of these are working, always the same error. Yes I can write files to the stick on my Mac.
Discordant
Go into Privacy and Security and add Enpass Portable to Full Disk Access. That is what I had to do to get it to work. macOS restricts apps from reading/writing stuff to your computer from downloads and other temporary areas.
Gulshan Dogra
Hi @Bambi, Welcome to the Enpass Community. This generally happens when you are attempting to launch the portable version from the Mac itself. I would recommend you to move the file to the USB pendrive and choose the desired location from there. #SI-2623
Bambi
Hi Discordant and Gulshan Dogra, I added to Full Disk Access in Privacy and Security, still the same error. For example, when I use the old version EnpassPortable_6.0.7 on my USB pen is everything nice working. I tried different USB pens always the problem. Any other ideas?? Gulshan Dogra
Hi @Bambi and @Discordant, I would like to share that this issue has been replicated on our end as well, and our team is working on a fix that will be released in a future version of Enpass. Thank you for your patience and understanding. #SI-2623
