Marcelo Santana Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 The Enpass Desktop application configured with the Portuguese language does not allow typing of accented characters in the text fields when we try to edit it. However, if we copy any text that contains accented characters and paste in the same text fields, in the Enpass, it allows the insertion of this text normally. How can we do to type accented characters, such as (á, ê, ú), in the Enpass text fields? 1
Vinod Kumar Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Hi @Marcelo Santana, I have filed a bug report. Fix will available in upcoming updates. Thanks. 1
hbarcelos Posted April 16, 2019 Report Posted April 16, 2019 Any updates here? This is pretty annoying for those who have accented characters in their passwords. I have to type the characters outside Enpass window and then copy-paste them.
hbarcelos Posted August 10, 2021 Report Posted August 10, 2021 It's been more than 2 years without a fix. Any timeframe to look at here?
Alejandro Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Good afternoon, After more than 5 years, this situation remains unchanged. I am currently in the process of transitioning to Fedora 41, and as a paid subscriber, this is a critical usability issue in a Linux system. I kindly request if you could address this error regarding accented characters in the master password. I have been using this application for years, but if this is not resolved soon, I will need to consider migrating to alternative solutions. Thank you in advance Edited 22 hours ago by Alejandro Error
