Cloud Sync

Hello, I'm using Enpass Version 6.0.1 on my MacBook. After a software update, I wanted to start enpass. I was first asked to allow Enpass access to my documents, which I thoughtlessly denied. Now of cause it does not connect to my account and can't recognize my password. How can I allow access now? I never made a backup elsewhere. So I can only use the data enpass stores in my documents. I tried to just download a later version, but for a setup was asked for a password to my backup, so couldn't solve the problem that way. /: Kind regards, Charlotte

My family shares one Enpass password database in iCloud. Certain family members can manage the passwords others should only have read access. In other words, the Password Administrators use the normal Enpass synch mode. All others can do want they want to their local copy of the password database, however the minute that they initiate a synch with the iCloud, the iCloud master copy gets copied down to their device and overwrites the local copy. Any changes that these users made to their local copy of the Enpass password database are lost. To make any password changes they must work through a Password Administrator. I have been using iCloud to sync, but I am unhappy that when the Windows or Linux desktop apps are unable to sync due to expiry of iCloud access, they do not give any warning. (The Mac desktop does give a warning). This resulted in a newly created login which I needed to access away from home was not available as the desktop had not synced. When I checked I found at least 1 weeks worth of updates had not synced. So which sync service have people found to be the most reliable so that I don't have this issue again? Thank you!

All software is up to date on 2 iphone 7 plus and Windows 10 pc. I have a vault with `130 items in in that works just fine between the Windows 10 enpass app and my iphone 7 plus. I can add or change entries on either device, do a sync, and other device shows the change. Beautiful. So I share the OneDrive\Apps\Enpass folder with my wife's email address using Onedrive sharing. The Onedrive app on her iphone 7 plus sees the shared Onedrive folder and vault file. I install her copy of Enpass and start the app, I tell it to use Onedrive to start, but the Enpass app never sees the shared Onedrive folder and creates an Enpass1 folder with an empty vault file in it. Hi, I have another account I used in my old iPod touch, it doesn't have a lot but when I want to sync it with another Android device and it asked me for the master password, it shows that it's not correct. I keeps trying but no use. So, I deleted the main folder in Google Drive so I can start fresh. It didn't work and it keeps asking the main password. Need your help, until now I couldn't new device setup as Enpass is the first app I install to make it easy to complete setup and installing other apps.

I have been using Enpass with OneDrive sync for years on multiple devices - One Laptop PC, an Android smartphone and an Android tablet. Recently, I noticed that synchronization fails on all devices. When I try to "resolve" the problem, it offers to re-sync with OneDrive - and prompts me that after this operation, the password for the data stored on OneDrive will change to the master password. This suggested that, somehow, the database itself is also protected with a password that may be different from the master password I have always been using for years. I can't sync with iCloud anymore. Steps: Browser opens (checked Firefox and Chrome) and I have to insert my iCloud Username and Password 2-FA is being displayed and I am providing the 2nd factor Browser is asking me to open a link with Enpass which I am confirming Browser and Enpass are both showing a spinning wheel (infinite) Any ideas what to try? Hello, I am using version 20.0 of Nextcloud and I can't synchronize my database. On my 2 Mac I can set up the synchronization wonderfully. The address is: https://cloud.myserver.eu/remote.php/dav/files/Clamsy/Apps/ My username: Clamsy My password: secret There it works. But if I want to synchronize the iPhone I get the error: "Could not connect to the specified WebDAV folder. Please check your username and password". Bypass SSL Verification is enabled. Username and password is correct. I have also tried an app password. Unfortunately also without success. What can I do?

Dear all, upon trying to sync with my existing OneDrive backup from the desktop application 6.0.4 (268), I receive the error message "Something went wrong while syncing to OneDrive. Error code: 504035". Until c. 2 days ago, this was not the case. AppvnI already tried resetting the sync and resetting the sync including deletion of the backup on OneDrive. I have just purchased a new Windows 10 computer and downloaded Enpass from Microsoft Store. When I open the Enpass app, I am asked to Restore from Cloud, in my case OneDrive. After entering my OneDrive username, I am redirected to the app via a browser screen that says Authorization Finished. The app then asks me to "Please provide the password of the data". I am setting up Enpass on a new Microsoft Surface Duo 2 (Android 11, Enpass 6.7.1.572) and running into problems enabling OneDrive sync. When I select OneDrive from the Sync with list Enpass immediately produces a dialog with "The sync with OneDrive was canceled by the user". It does also launch the default browser and go through the Microsoft Account login authorization on the other screen, but even when I get to the Enpass page (auth.enpass.io/onedrive/?code=<long string>) with Authorization Finished! and the Redirect button, Enpass doesn't respond and so I'm left with no OneDrive sync. Hi, I'm struggeling with the enpass Windows 11 app. After any Windows 11 restart, the sync to the iCloud is lost. I need to sign in every time. This is quite anoying and not really useful. Any idea what the problem might cause? What information is required so someone might be able to help?

I have a personal enpass pro account. I have the master password in Dropbox (where I originally saved the password and syncro) and now two vaults in Dropbox and later in One Drive (now it's the main one with the same master password) and when I add an item to one vault it doesn't sync to the other (I manually copied all the elements from the original vault to the new one). Can I delete the Dropbox vault and keep the master password and storage only on One Drive without losing the data? I hope I have explained the question clearly. Thank you

Hi there, I'm behind a corporative proxy and I can't sync my database to Google Drive or Dropbox. I can authenticate to these services all right but Enpass for desktop (linux) just keeps syncing forever. I guess it's not using my system-wide proxy settings and I can't find netwok settings inside the app. Is there a way I can solve it?

I'm running 5.3.0 on linux. Installed an internal nextcloud (the fork of owncloud) server. That server seems to work through its web interface. Tried to sync enpass with that server. Used the url: http://<my internal server>/nextcloud/remote.php/webdav/ with the right username and password. It says it is "connecting" incessantly. I noticed on a different thread reporting similar symptoms that appears to be an SSL problem. But I am not using SSL. How can I diagnose this? Hello. Enpass cloud sync using OneDrive usually works very well for me. But this morning I experienced the problem of some changes made in the traditional Win32 desktop application not syncing to other devices (Windows tablet and Lumia 950). When I tried manual sync, the phone and tablet would fail repeatedly. "Last attempt" time updated, but "Last synchronized" date remained old. Then, I opened the Windows 10 UWP app on my PC, entered the same changes I had made in the Win32 app, manually sync'ed, then tried to sync the phone and tablet again--and they both worked! So, it appears the Win32 application causes problems with cloud sync in my case--although the cause …

Enpass works fine on home PC and auto-synchs to OneDrive. When I install Enpass on my other PC at another location which has the same OneDrive account which contains the synched data file, it doesn't recognize that data file, and won't unlock. What am I missing? Thanks for your help!
