    Just wanted to add: that even just adding a Setting Toggle for Users to be able to choose the Default Sort would be Awesome!

    Please add a Settings Toggle to Disable this "Feature" in Settings!

  3. Exactly this. There should definitely be a way to see the Category an Item belongs to on the Item itself, and there should be a way to see all Items "Not belonging to any Category".

    This is partially why I have created a Field in Each Item specifically for Categories as a work around. I have also created several Categories that aren't so Generic (like Password is) to make Searching for them, and listing them easier. e.g. "WebLogin".

    You could also use Sub-Categories. e.g. "Category:WebLogin".  It's not ideal, but it will help until a fix is implemented. B|

    This will not address "uncategorized" Items though. That's still an issue.

  4. The assumed "default" sort of iOS has NOTHING to do with this request. This is strictly up to the Developer. There are lots and LOTS of iOS Apps who sort data lists from Symbol to # to Z.

    The sort for Enpass should be uniform across all platforms. It should also be: Symbol to # to Z. B|

    I would also add that Apple's idea of a "default" sort is actually by date created / purchased / etc. Just look at your App Store Purchases... total mess.

  5. This is something that has been driving me a bit crazy since the beginning. I add Special Characters to the Titles of Items I want to Display above everything else in the List. This works as expected on Enpass Desktop, but on Enpass Mobile the Default Sort puts Special Characters at the Bottom instead.

    Please make it so that the Default Sort Lists Special Characters First before anything else.

  6. Specifically when an item has a + as the first Character. They are not listed at the top like they should be. They are not even listed together. There are some just in the middle of Alphabetical Sections in random places. The list headings show A, +, A, +, A, B, +, B, C, +, C, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, +, D, E, F, + ... etc.

    I will say that the + Items appear to be in alphabetical order with what follows after the +.

    e.g.
    DNS
    + DNS

    but all the + items are not together if the following word is the same.

    e.g.
    DNS
    DNS
    + DNS
    DNS
    + DNS

    This is only happening on Linux, and not on Windows, and not on macOS.

  7. Clicking on "All Items" after looking at a single Item sticks to the single Item, and does not Reset the View to the Top of All Items

    This is driving me crazy, and I can't find a way to disable it!

    When I click on "All Items" or any Tag, I want to see the list of everything, as I have it sorted, From the Top. NOT from the last Item I had selected. Please change it back to the way it was, or add an option to select to change it back to the way it was.

  8. I'm not sure where the problem lies, I use Enpass for iOS, macOS, Windows, & Nix. After updating to the latest release, I noticed several previously tagged items were suddenly now MISSING their tags. It has been driving me crazy! I just keep re-tagging items, and then other items loose their tags. Seems completely random, and is extremely frustrating!

    Also, normal editing / switching between items now seems EXTREMELY SLOW!

    SLOWNESS issues are the same on both Windows and macOS.

    I'm ready to roll back...

  15. The new 6.8.5 Update DID NOT solve this issue!

    This issue reemerged around the release of iOS 15.6.1-15.7. Which was BEFORE the release of 6.8.3 on 2022.09.27.

    I know that I started seeing the issue before 2022.09.15.

    I am currently using iOS 16.1 now.

    The main indicator is that the App will not Sync with Dropbox after the initial sync. There is NO ERROR.

    When going to the Dropbox Sync Menu;

    1. There is no "Last Synced" Date, it is blank.
    2. Hitting "Sync Now" never completes a Sync, just sits on "Synchronizing..." no matter how much time has passed.
    3. Getting out the the App and going back in causes immediate crash, Next attempt will open back up.
      • App Opens on Attempts: 1, 3, 5, 7...
      • App Crashes on Attempts: 2, 4, 6, 8...

    Delete App, Reinstall, Reactivate. Sync with Dropbox. Works once. Won’t Sync again.

    So not happy!

  16. I would prefer to provide this information somewhere that isn't public.

    I will say though, this is a new problem, and I have not changed anything significant within Enpass, nor with my system since this trouble started (other than updating my Browser when prompted).

    Just now, Enpass Desktop on macOS was working as expected, but the Browser Extension was not. I checked the Activity Monitor, and sure enough, Enpass Desktop was bouncing around between 130k-230k Idle Wake Ups. I closed Enpass through the normal "Quit Enpass" option through the "Enpass" Application Menu, it was not locked up. As soon as I relaunched Enpass the Browser Extension started working as normal.

    I did not restart my browser.

    After Restarting Enpass Desktop the Idle Wake Ups are bouncing between 0-1. CPU Usage is 0.0

     

  17. I'm not sure if this is an issue with Enpass, or one caused by a recent Chrome update. I usually leave Enpass running. I have noticed that the last couple weeks, the Enpass Browser Add-on fails to activate, or even come up at all (especially in a Private Window); and that most times when returning to my computer Enpass is shows as "Not Responding" in the Activity Monitor with approximately 130k-230k Idle Wake Ups, and at about 60% CPU Utilization. I have to Force Quit the Process and re-open it. Even after doing so, the Browser Extension still only works sometimes.

    macOS Catalina 10.15.7
    Chrome (Brave) Version 1.40.113 Chromium: 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (x86_64)
    Enpass 6.8.2 (App Store Version)

  18. So I looked at the version history of the sync file in Dropbox. The previous version was modified the same day at 0536 with the size of 7.3MB, which was a similar size to all the other previous versions, but the current version was 4.3MB.

    I restored the previous version, and everything started syncing correctly again (I of course did a backup on each of my devices first).

    I'm not sure what caused the trouble, but maybe this information will help you devs.
