Face recognition Android

Featured Replies

I just bought my kid a Samsung A50 and wanted to use Enpass with the face recognition but it appears that just fingerprint is working. Because we are using protective film like panzerglass to protect the display of the phone the fingerprint can’t be used. Is there any plan to release face recognition as well?

Best regards,

peter

Hi @PeterCH,

Thanks for writing in.

Currently in Android devices Enpass supports unlock via fingerprint, PIN and master password). However, we have noted down your valuable suggestion and forwarded it to the concerned team for further consideration. Thanks for your feedback!

Came here to request same.

More and more of my apps support all forms of biometric unlock on my Samsung S10+ running Android 10.

Really hope to see Enpass join the ranks soon!

Hi,

Thanks for using Enpass and writing to us.

Enpass supports face unlock on the new Google BiometricPrompt API. We'll continue to expand our face unlock feature on other devices too. However, face unlock will be supported where the device manufacturer reports face authentication as a strong Bio-metric.

Face unlock is available for iPhone. Which model are you using?

Thanks!
