Hi,

Samsung released an update to their android browser which states they have improved 3rd party autofillers.

It seems bitwarden got it to work. Will Enpass further improve on autofill and Samsung internet as well?

Would love this to be included in the next update.

Big +1 from me.

Hi, we're in 2024 and still no autocompletion on Samsung Internet, which is very embarassing... :/

Hi @Garima Singh, any update on this? It's long been a major feature missing from Enpass, stopping it from fully replacing 1Password on my phone, which has had it since 2019! Is there some compromising requirement Samsung is demanding to be on their whitelist?

To troubleshoot the auto-filling issue you're experiencing, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that all auto-filling methods in Enpass for Android are enabled. You can find these settings under Autofill on Android, Android Autofill Framework, Android Accessibility, and Enpass Keyboard. Try toggling them off and on again if they are already enabled.

2. Try removing the saved credentials for the webpage/app where the issue is occurring and then re-save them in Enpass. After re-saving, attempt to auto-fill again.

3. Create a manual backup of your vault data or set up synchronization and then reinstall the Enpass app.

If the issue persists, please provide the following details for further investigation:

- The version of the browser you are using.
- Specify if the issue occurs on all webpages/apps or only on specific ones. If specific, please provide the names of those webpages/apps.

Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance or information. We're here to help!

Hi Amandeep,

None of the suggestions work in getting Enpass to autofill in Samsung Internet.

I'm using Samsung Internet v26.0.1.3. The issue occurs on ALL sites in Samsung Internet.

Our development team is currently aware of this issue and they are working on identifying a fix.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to fix this issue.

Does this apply to Samsung browser? Is Samsung browser even supported or are these steps general steps for other supported browsers?

Anyupdates on this...it's 2025 now and still no autofill...

  • 6 months later...

So it is August 2025 -- any updates? I'm an Enpass lifetime member but I can't even use Enpass on my phone with Samsung Internet

Thanks for checking in! Yes, we’re aware of the issue with Samsung Internet and it’s already on our priority list. Our team is actively working on broader browser support, and Samsung Internet is part of that roadmap. While I don’t have an exact ETA to share just yet, please rest assured it’s in progress and will be addressed in an upcoming release.

Another year has passed. Still no sign of auto fill. It's a shame, really

7 years later and they still haven't implemented what the competition has long had since 2019...at this pace, don't think we'll be ever seeing it implemented.
