davidc Posted January 17, 2023 Report Posted January 17, 2023 "Something went wrong while syncing with NextCloud. Error code: 1307018" Could that be a less helpful error message? Where is the logfile so I can see what actually went wrong? The Nextcloud instance is running fine and all desktop and mobile Nextcloud clients are syncing just fine.
Abhishek Dewan Posted January 18, 2023 Report Posted January 18, 2023 Hi @davidc The error code 18 is a curle error. The error code 907018/1307018 means - For more details you can also refer to this link: https://curl.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html #SI-3210
davidc Posted January 18, 2023 Author Report Posted January 18, 2023 It seems the file was corrupted somehow, possibly by the iOS client where I just changed a password for the first time in years. occ files:scan rebuilds the index and makes the curl error go away Sync then results in: "It seems that password of data on NextCloud has been changed lately. Please enter the new password to continue sync." Entering my master password does not work, so I guess the file has been corrupted. I am not given the option to push the latest version from my laptop to Nextcloud, what is the safest way to do this without losing any data? I know the vault on my laptop is currently good. I see the file on my laptop is named Vaults\primary\vault.enpassdb whereas the vault on Nextcloud is named Enpass/vault.enpassdbsync i.e. has a different file extension. Can I overwrite the .enpassdbsync with the .enpassdb from my laptop or is it in a different format? Or should I copy this file instead from my laptop: Enpass\.sync\primary\Nextcloud.enpassdbsync ?
Abhishek Dewan Posted January 19, 2023 Report Posted January 19, 2023 Hi @davidc Since you mentioned that the Enpass Vault on your laptop is good, kindly ensure that it is also up to date with all your passwords and create a manual backup. Then disconnect the synchronization from your laptop (and any other devices), remove the Enpass data from your Nextcloud server and set up synchronization again. Once done, you can reinstall the Enpass app on your iOS device.
davidc Posted January 24, 2023 Author Report Posted January 24, 2023 Thanks, it is all good again now.
Jameswalter Posted January 31, 2023 Report Posted January 31, 2023 Try syncing once again? Make sure you have taken the backup before deleting data on the web account. Regards, james
Fabian1 Posted February 11, 2023 Report Posted February 11, 2023 I have this error code now for the repeated time - on the Mac when I have changed something on the iPhone on the tesor. It's annoying to have to disconnect, delete and reconnect the vault every time. Can you finally do your job and fix the many bugs in Enpass? What do we pay for month after month? By the way: Latest MacOS, Latest Mac Enpass, Latest iOS, Latest iPhone Enpass.
Abhishek Dewan Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 Hi @Fabian1 As mentioned in the post above, error code 18 is a curle error. I have also posted a description of the same along with a link for reference. If you would like us to investigate this concern for you, kindly DM me the exact version of the Enpass app and OS you are using, along with a demo Nextcloud account with its username, URL and password.
Fabian1 Posted February 16, 2023 Report Posted February 16, 2023 I can solve the problem, if I change something on the iPhone and sync there. After that I can sync with the Mac again. This is a workaround.
davidc Posted March 12, 2023 Author Report Posted March 12, 2023 Yes this is happening repeatedly now. Latest Enpass for Windows 6.8.5. Latest Enpass for iOS 6.8.6.

I tried: disconnecting, reconnecting --> no success disconnecting iPhone and Mac, deleting the vault on the nextcloud, connecting the Mac again --> no success disconnecting iPhone and Mac, deleting the vault on the nextcloud, connecting the iPhone again --> error code 1308413 Can you help me out with this issue?
