  1. Hi @SRR You can enable the 'Always run Assistant in docked mode' setting from Enpass app Settings -> General. That way, Enpass Assistant will stay sticky on the screen and won't disappear when you click outside it. #SI-3365
  2. Hi @MasonHaley Enpass is an offline password manager and saves your data locally on your device, and in any case, we do not take any of your personal data. But yes, Enpass does connect to the internet with the sole purpose of giving the best user experience. So if you have seen a network activity for Enpass, it could be due to many reasons. Please refer to this link for more information about it.
  3. Hi @Suresh Bala On the devices on which you are facing this concern (your Desktop device), please try the below steps - Take a backup of the Enpass Data on your device from Enpass Settings → Vaults → Select the Vault → Backup. Uninstall the Enpass app from Enpass Settings → Advanced → Erase everything. Reinstall the app and restore using the backup file. Sync the Vault with the cloud service of your choice (Dropbox in this case). The above steps should synchronize your Desktop device with rest of your devices via Dropbox.
  4. Hi @all Our development team is aware of this bug and it will be fixed in our upcoming major update. In the meantime, you can create the backup of Enpass data using these simple steps: Open Enpass app. Go to Settings → Vaults → Select the vault which data you want to backup. Click on three dot options → Backup #SI-3351
  5. Hi @paulsiu Please share the exact version of the Linux OS you are using and I will gladly get this investigated for you.
  6. Hi @paulsiu For security reasons, we recommend using the Enpass app on devices which you trust and not on public computers even though your Enpass data is fully encrypted by 256-bit AES encryption with 100,000 rounds of PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 using the peer-reviewed and open-source encryption engine SQLCipher. The main benefit of Enpass portable is that unlike traditional Enpass desktop apps, the portable version does not require installation. You can put it on a USB drive and move between your computers while taking your app and settings with you. To learn more about Enpass Portable, kindly check this link.
  7. Hi @jyuviole Thanks for sharing the screenshot of the Enpass version. It seems that you are using an older version of Enpass. Kindly update your Enpass app to the latest version 6.8.6 and share your findings with me. If the issue persists, do share the Enpass Extension version as well
  8. Hi @Andrea C. Welcome to the Enpass Forums. For troubleshooting purposes, if you have a manual backup/set up synchronization for your Enpass data, then only try reinstalling the app. Otherwise, please share the below details with me, and I’ll have this investigated for you - 1. The version of the Enpass app you are using. 2. Have you downloaded the Enpass app from the MacApp Store or from our official website? 3. Try disconnecting the internet, then launch the Enpass app and observe if the app is still crashing for you. If it is not crashing, then while the internet is disconnected, try removing the cloud account you are using for synchronization, enable the internet and re-launch Enpass to check if the app is still crashing. Also share the cloud service you are using to synchronize your data. 4. Is the Enpass app showing you a crash report after the crash? If yes, kindly share it with me.
  9. Hi @Suresh Bala Welcome to the Enpass Forums. As Enpass is an offline password manager, all your data is stored locally on your device. We provide our users with the option to synchronize their Enpass data between their devices and it is completely optional. To set up synchronization between your Desktop and mobile device, please refer to the below steps - Steps for your device on which Enpass is already set up and running (Desktop device)- You can set up cloud sync on your device by going to - Setting’s → Vaults → Select the Vault for which you would like to setup sync → Setup Sync → Select the cloud → Continue. Steps for your other/new devices (Mobile handset) - On the welcome screen of the Enpass application on your device, choose Restore Existing -> Cloud account to which you synced the details above → Enter Vault password → Continue . All the passwords will be synced to your device.

  12. Hi @Laurent Enpass is always grateful for our active users and your efforts in notifying us of this feature. I forwarded this request to our developers and would like to inform you that they have investigated its feasibility & unfortunately, this request cannot be taken into consideration at the moment. Your support and effort are greatly appreciated. However, if you are using WebDAV/OwnCloud, sync with multiple vaults is possible by defining separate paths/folders for each vault. Also, to share Items with your relatives, you can also refer to our handy guide.
  13. Hi @rorywohl I appreciate you taking the time and sharing the requested information with me! I have shared all the details with our development team so they fix this concern asap. Thank you for your support in the interim.
  14. Hi @bruno For quick troubleshooting, I recommend you check this highly useful troubleshooting guide. I would also suggest re-installing the app once. If the instructions in the above link do not help, kindly share the below details with me and I’ll get this investigated for you - The version of the Enpass app and OS you are using on your current device and your previous device as well. Please share a screenshot of the error messages you are getting. Do you have Enpass application on any other of your devices and are you able to access your data? Is the master password working on those devices or are you accessing the Enpass app through biometrics/Face ID? Also share the cloud service (if any) you are using to synchronize your data. The number of vaults you had in your Windows 7 Enpass app.
  15. Hi @paulsiu I will gladly assist you with all your queries - "I notice that there are multiple version of the Enpass portable: Mac, Windows, and Linux..." - Depending on the OS you are using (Windows/Linux/Mac), please download the relevant version. Once done, kindly follow the instructions provided in the manual installation folder. "What is the recommendation for the data files, should I sync with the cloud version or should I just export to a separate vault?" - You can synchronize your Enpass data normally like you do in the Desktop version of the app via any cloud service of your choice. "How would the product work on a Chromebook" - Enpass portable is currently available for Windows, Linux and Mac only. For Chromebook, you can simply download the Enpass app from the Google PlayStore.
  16. Hi @rorywohl Thank you for sharing the details. We were able to reproduce the bug on our end due to which this issue is occurring, and our team is now working on a fix. While we work on fixing this glitch, could you please confirm once you get this error, does the connection between the app and extension gets established automatically or do you have to manually disable/enable the 'Autofill in Chrome browser ( beta)' option from Enpass Autofill settings?
  17. Hi @ff_ay Our development team is already aware of the request for this feature. As soon as I have more information about its implementation, I will be be sure to update this forum.
  18. Hi @rorywohl Our team of experts is looking into this concern for you. However, they require some additional information on this matter. Could you please confirm when you click on the Enpass Extension Icon, does it show any error message, or does clicking on Enpass extension doesn’t perform any action? We appreciate your cooperation in this case.
  19. Hi @spike After enabling the 'Backup Automatically' Setting in Enpass, in addition to having your Enpass data stored in your cloud service of choice, you can create local backups of your Enpass data for recovery purposes. To restore the Enpass data on your new device from the cloud account, on the welcome screen of the Enpass application on your device, choose Restore Existing -> Cloud account to which you synced the details above → Enter Vault password → Continue . All the passwords will be synced to your device. In case you are getting any error, please share a screenshot of the error message and I'll assist you further with the concern.
