RHPT Posted March 17 Report Posted March 17 I'm currently using the 6.10 (1069) beta, but I would like to return to using the current version. Trying to reinstall over the beta returns an error. Do I have to uninstall Enpass completely to leave the beta?
Amandeep Kumar Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 If you want to update Enpass, I suggest you follow the steps below: Sync all your vaults before uninstalling the Beta 6.10 (1609) version. Take a manual backup of your latest data on your local device and ensure that the master password you remember is correct. Then uninstall beta version from your device. https://www.enpass.io/downloads/ follow link to download latest Enpass versions. If you're still experiencing the issue, please provide the following details: Operating system version. A screenshot of error
MacDefender Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 I also just switched from 6.10 (1609) to the 6.9.5 (1639) and was wondering if 6.9.5 is really newer. As a developer myself I guess that 1639 is the build number and thus is a few steps ahead of the 1609 beta although the version number suggest otherwise. But Enpass 1639 now always tell me that there is a newer version and ask if I would like to download 1609. Can you tell us if the beta 6.10 (1609) is really older than the 6.9.5 (1639) and this is a 'bug' in the update routine suggesting an older version or if the beta is newer?
Amandeep Kumar Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Allow me to explain. The "6.10.0 (1609)" version you mentioned is a Enpass Windows Website BETA version, while "6.9.5 (1639)" is a Enpass Windows Stable version. So, the stable version currently available is "6.9.5 (1639)", which is the latest stable version you currently have installed. Regarding the beta version you mentioned, it seems you're referring to the old beta version because today, we released the new beta version 6.10.1 (1655).
