Buffy Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I know I've encountered this problem before but I cannot remember how to fix it. I mistakenly redownloaded the Desktop app and now my password says incorrect. It opens fine with my face id on my phone, but how to do I retrieve the correct file from the cloud and where on my Mac do I put it. I know there's some changing filenames or something. The instructions on the website don't make sense tome. Please help. I'm useless without my Enpass on my desktop.
Tarun Singh Rawat Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 Please follow the steps below: On a device where Enpass is functioning properly, sync your Enpass data with your cloud service and ensure you remember your master password. On your Mac, navigate to the Documents folder and locate the "Enpass" folder. Rename this folder to "Enpass2." Quit Enpass (using CTRL+Q) and then reopen the application. Open Enpass on your Mac (this will initiate a fresh setup) and proceed using your registered email address. Connect your vault to your existing cloud service and access it using your master password. Following these steps should allow you to access Enpass with your master password and ensure that your data is synchronized across your devices.
