zappyguy Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Hello, Thanks for the enpass 6 update, Its awesome!! Congratulations to the whole team. I have a small problem with the tray icon, i have enabled "use dark tray icon" under customize, and restarted the app as well, but the dark icon does not activate. Also is the dark icon, black and white like the previous version of enpass (it was similar to the other icons you see on the attached image). Thank You.
zappyguy Posted December 29, 2018 Author Report Posted December 29, 2018 Hello, Can you please look into this. Thank You.
Vinod Kumar Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 Hi @zappyguy, It seems icon cache is not updated yet. Please logout/login or restart system to refresh icon. Thanks.
zappyguy Posted January 2, 2019 Author Report Posted January 2, 2019 Hello, I have done that, it still does not change, i see the white blue icon. Thank you.
Vinod Kumar Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 Hi @zappyguy, Please let me know Which Linux distro? Also, please try new 6.0.1 update.
zappyguy Posted January 4, 2019 Author Report Posted January 4, 2019 Hello, i am on ubuntu 18.04, i just did update, i am on 6.0.1, No change yet, i still get the big blue and white icon. Thank you
Dentonthebear Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Hi, My setup is Xubuntu 18.04, Adwaita theme and Elementary Xfce darker icons. First thing I did upon installing Enpass 6.0.1 (239) was to change to the dark tray icon, it worked first time without having to log out/in. Not entirely the same setup as you zappyguy, but I thought I would chime in with my experience. zappyguy, did you run a beta version of v6? I went straight from 5 to 6 myself. Liking things so far with 6, some irritating bits that will hopefully be improved but I will post up these points elsewhere. Oh and thanks very much Team Enpass for the "All the premium features are free for Linux." If only there were more software developers creating truly cross-platform programmes.
Vinod Kumar Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 @zappyguy Please run a search in your system with for image files with name starting with "enpass-status". If you find anything that looks like what is shown in screenshot remove it. Two folders where you need to search are /usr/share/icons ~/.local/share/icons
zappyguy Posted February 27, 2019 Author Report Posted February 27, 2019 Hello, So turns out the issue was with the theme, I am using papirus icon theme (epapirus), which does not have the enpass panel icons, can you provide us these icons? Thank you.
