I would like to change for your software. i've tested importing from 1password. But no all entries neither attachements have been imported. I can not migrate or purchase until the fully real import goes on. Lot of posts here in the forum describe same problems. Have you a road map for full complete import data (including attachements ?) and all entries ?

Enpass fails when importing 1Password data (.1pif). I tried to import the data several times: import of the whole database (1404 objects), only import of accounts (18 objects) - but Enpass always shows elements in the import folder with "Ohne Titel" (Untitled), but no more content. Software: Windows 7 Pro (German), Enpass Version 5.6.5, 1Password Version 4.6.2.626 Any ideas? Thanks and regards Area

Hi Enpass team, can I import data with a custom csv file into separeted folders and subfolders? The problem is, that I have a large Keepass database with hundreds of values, organized in custom folders and subfolders. When I import them to Enpass with the provided import tool, all folders are gone and I have to manual recreate them and assign its vaue(s) by hand. I hope you can help me. Thx Ronny

Having real difficulty loading the .walletx backup file that Enpass creates when you make a backup of your files. I'm trying to move my data seamlessly from Enpass V5, to Enpass V6. I have already tried to do this once via .CVS, but found that the import actually lost a lot of the important information within the data! So I'm trying it again from an old TimeMachine entry of my previous V5 Enpass, where my data still is. What is the way to load a .walletx file? I have tried making a new 'Vault' through settings and loading it there... but it keeps saying 'Invalid File'! Please can someone help? Thanks! Lauren

Hi I am moving from 1Password 4.6.2 From the File menu, I choose Export, choose 1PIF format, then put it in a new directory on its own and name it "data.1pif" It confirms it has exported all 465 of my passwords. In Enpass, I choose File, Import, 1Password, then point it at the directory that I put data.1pif in. It confirms it has imported 249 passwords. So it has failed to import around half of my passwords and hasn't given any errors or reasons why this would be so. Looking at the Enpass vault, I can indeed identify many passwords that are simply missing. This looks like it has already been reported at but the response there onl…

So I just purchased pro after a glowing review of Enpass that I read online. I have been using LastPass for at least eight years but I like the fact that Enpass stores passwords locally (and via your own cloud services). Well, I downloaded the CSV file from LastPass / export to my desktop. I open Enpass and continue to import but get the error message "Nothing to Import". I would greatly appreciate any help.

I am a happy SafeInCloud customer but am considering switching to Enpass because it supports Linux and the SafeInCloud developer seems to have no interest in doing so. I tried importing my exported SafeInCloud XML file into Enpass 6.0.1. It crashes after importing only about 8 entries. When I say crash, i mean the Enpass just abruptly closes with no warning. Is there a fix for this?

I exported a vault in 1password to 1pif format. I open Mac version of Enpass, select import, select 1password and 1pif format. I then click on the folder icon and navigate to the folder my pif file is in. The file is there, because it shows up in the picker window. However, when press "Continue" I get a message in red "No PIF file present in selected folder". The file certainly is there, I see it in Finder and I see it in the window where I choose the directory. What do I do when Enpass says something is not there but it is?

I started with exporting a CSV from my previous PW manager. Tried importing to just get the dreaded "nothing to import" error message. Here is what I tried next... Manually cleaned up the data in a spreadsheet program, resaved as CSV. Tried to import but "nothing to import" Aligned all columns, threw out all data I didn't need, resaved. Tried again but "nothing to import" Simplified to just 4 entries, each only having a Aligned all columns, threw out all data I didn't need, resaved. Tried again but "nothing to import" Created a brand new file with only 2 entries. Tried again but "nothing to import" Simplified to just 1 entry. Tried again but …

Hi! I would like to switch from 1Password to Enpass but moving data from 1Password to Enpass is a real challenge. I was able to find a workaround for an issue I had with the process and would like to share it here. Hopefully this entry also serves as a bug report of some sort. The issue: After exporting data from 1Password as 1pif and importing to Enpass, I noticed that some entries were missing. The workaround: I looked into the 1pif file and noticed an entry that was longer than the others and mainly consisted of form fields of the web application that I would be logging in. Removing that line from the 1pif file seems to resolve the issue w…

I'm on a MacBook Pro now with macOS 13.0.1. Using 1Password 7.9.6 and just licensed Enpass 6.8.4 My export from 1Password to non-encrypted 1pif file went well. Import went well. However I had spent lots of time adding custom icons to my 900+ entires. Now I see (ugly) generic icons. How can I get my custom icons to import??? I also looked at adding a custom icon in Enpass and it is not as simple as 1P for macOS APPLICATIONS. In 1P I can drag the icon of a macOS Application onto the icon placeholder, drop and the icon would update. Seems I have to go thru a complicated method with Enpass. The default icon as ugly and are not …

My keepass db structure is: Root---- ------cat1 ------cat2 ------cat3 -------------subcat3.1 -------------subcat3.2 -------------subcat3.3 ------cat4 ......etc What i do? -> go to keepassx->export my db to CSV->go to enpass->import data from keepassx as CSV.... I open a new topic because in the new version 6.1.1 there is no longer the possibility to import directly from the old POKET password manager (ver2.7). I thought I would reinstall version 5 to import and upgrade to version 6 but version 5 for ubuntu is no longer reachable. Someone can help me do the import without manually adjusting all records (pocket exports in XML, CSV, SQLite format). if there is no other solution I can use OOcalc for the transformation and then import into Enpass.

Maybe this is an issue that others have already reported, but I have logins from 1Password that don't autofill because there is a mismatch of fields (see screenshot). I need to manually copy the login credentials in order to work.

Hi guys, Im trialing enpass as an alternative to LastPass after the price increase. One thing Im having issues with is although I can export my data from LastPass, the form fills do not appear to be able to be imported into enpass. The form fill items are separately exportable from Lastpass but importing them doesnt work. Also things like secure notes and licenses are not imported in the corresponding areas in enpass. They are imported just as normal sites. Is this just a limitation of the import feature in Enpass? Regards David

Hi, I'm aware, that using attachments in Enpass is a quite new functionality. Is there a way to import existing attachments from 1 Password automatically? Just for completeness: The attachments are available in the exported 1pif-folder. They simply do not show up after importing to Enpass. Thanks Thomas

Lastpass import, data missing Hello, is it normal that some passwords are just gone when importing from Lastpass. Exporting from Lastpass to .csv creates 599 entries, importing to Enpass and then export to .csv = 411 entries. And some real passwords are just gone. Which is troublesome...

Hello. I'm fully prepared to move to Enpass but am unable to import the 1pif folder or file. I have 1password on both my MacOS and Windows machines and cannot import a 1pif folder or file in Enpass installs in either the Windows or MacOS environments. Windows is running v4.6 and MacOS is running v7.9.9. On MacOS, it seems the 1pif file simply isn't exporting properly. The result is a file with no contents. So, I switched to Windows. On the Windows side, the 1pif file exports properly with contents but Enpass won't import it. Please advise if there is any way through this. My password manager must absolutely be rock solid and reliable. Thanks!

Hello, I'm Bitwarden user since several months ago, my first Password Manager was LastPass, then I migrated to Bitwarden because is OpenSource and auditable. Before all this, I was a licensed user of Enpass in Android, but I didn't use it because it lack by the time, of a lot of important features for me. Recently I just read about the latest Enpass version (6), and I wanted to give it a try, again. So I just gone over my Bitwarden export tool and exported all the data in CSV format, (Bitwarden can export data in .json format too), there were exported over 500 of several kind items. Then I used the Enpass desktop application to import the CSV file. It took a couple o…
