January 16Jan 16 The recent addition of the PRF (Pseudo-Random Function) extension to FIDO, which enables symmetric encryption, is indeed a key milestone we were waiting for. We’re actively working on adding YubiKey support in Enpass, both as a master-passwordless authentication method and as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) option. As of now, our plan is to introduce this support in Q2 of this year. We’ll be sure to share updates through our official channels as development progresses. Thanks for your patience and continued support.
January 19Jan 19 Author @Abhishek Dewan ??? @Amandeep Kumar ??? @Garima Singh ??? @Pratyush Sharma ??? @Vinod Kumar ??? @Anshu kumar ??? ****message from EnpassOfficial from reddit....**** ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ up! up! ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ Please!!! Enpass Team, could you please commit to sharing a clear and honest roadmap with your users clients ? and stop just answering we forward your request to our team... For years now, the community has been asking for proper FIDO / YubiKey support, yet there is still no concrete commitment, no timeline, and no transparent explanation. This is becoming increasingly frustrating. Its not supposed to be so hard to implement... Even some small websites or also community forums now support YubiKey and FIDO-based authentication, yet a security-focused password manager like Enpass still does not. This raises serious questions about priorities and long-term vision. At this point, users deserve the truth: Is FIDO / YubiKey support actually planned? please commit you with real release date. If yes, why has it taken so long, and when can we realistically expect it? In how many days, weeks ? not months or even worst as year answer... we waiting for so long now.. If not, please state it clearly instead of leaving customers in uncertainty. What we ask for is not marketing talk or vague promises, but transparency and honesty. Many of us rely on Enpass for critical security needs, and silence or deflection only erodes trust. Please provide a clear and straightforward answer. Regards, ***folks, customer as i am if you agree with my comment please thumbs up, love, and push, level up! this message to enpass team .. if possible everyday, or many times a day... up! up! up! thanks in advance users community reddit or enpass.io community pagea... i hope together we can make enough pression on Enpass TEAM to force to make fido/yubikey security enable ASAP!!! if you agree please don't hesitate to level UP!!! April 10Apr 10 We understand your concern about how long this has taken. While we still don’t have an ETA, FIDO/YubiKey support remains on our roadmap. We’ll share an update once this feature is released. There are several factors we must consider before making any changes, and we truly appreciate your continued patience.
