URL don't open in Enpass with Firefox as default Web browser

Hello.

From some weeks now, I cannot open any URL in Enpass (6.3.3), when Firefox is set as the default Web browser.

PC with Windows 10.

It works when changing the default to Google Chrome.
So, that problem seems related to Firefox. The Firefox clean operation didn't change anything.
Is this case known ?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @PaulH49,

Please let us know the following details so we can further investigate:

  • On which device (along with OS version) are you using Enpass?
  • Which Firefox version are you using?
  • Which Enpass extension version are you using?
  • Are you using any Antivirus or third-party security-related extension?

Thanks for your co-operation

Hi,

I've got the same problem. Enpass won't open URLs (including re-authenticating iCloud for sync, for example) when an other browser than Edge is the system standard. To open any URL from within Enpass, I have to set MS Edge as standard browser in the system settings.

I'm currently using:

Enpass 6.4.0

Windows 10 V1909

Vivaldi 2.11

Hi @Coffinwood,

Sorry for the trouble.

Regarding iCloud issue- We are already aware of this issue. Our Dev team is working on it and the update with the fixes will be available soon.

Regarding Firefox browser issue- Could you please uninstall the Firefox browser and install it again using this link. Once you install it, make it as your default browser and revert us back if the problem persists.

Thanks.
