damienp Posted October 12, 2020 Report Posted October 12, 2020 Hello. I think I have the same problem than the one described here: https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/6318-bug-in-match-url-hostname/&tab=comments#comment-13913 => Enpass displays unrelated logins for my subdomains when I click on the browser plugin icon. For example if I want the logins of one of the following sites: https://mail.example.com https://accounts.example.com https://signin.example.com https://shop.example.com Enpass will show me the logins of all the subdomains of example.com instead of only the logins of the subdomain I'm on. Same pb on Windows (10) and macOS ; Chrome, FF and Safari. Enpass 6.5.1 (723) (in French) Is there anything I can do? I tried to check/uncheck "Match url hostname" + restart enpass without success. Thank you for your help! D.
Pratyush Sharma Posted October 14, 2020 Report Posted October 14, 2020 Hi @damienp, Welcome to the forums! What were the results on enabling the Match URL Hostname option? Meanwhile, we are looking into this at our end. Thanks.
damienp Posted October 14, 2020 Author Report Posted October 14, 2020 (edited) Hi, Thank you for your answer! Enabling "Match URL Hostname" (or not - I tried both) is not working: that's the point of this bug report ! We are three persons here having the same problem: me on Windows, the other two on either Linux and/or macOS. Best regards, D. Edited October 14, 2020 by damienp Added precisions

gyan000 Posted August 31, 2021 Report Posted August 31, 2021 Hi @Pratyush Sharma, @Garima Singh I don't know if it's fixed on windows or mac versions but with the linux version this problem still occurs. Version: 6.7.0 (867) Any update on this issue ? I'm available to provide any help if needed, just let me know. Thanks for your help
Manish Chokwal Posted September 1, 2021 Report Posted September 1, 2021 Hello @gyan000! Welcome to the Enpass Forum. I would like to share that we have made improvements in "match url hostname" functionality and it will be available in a future update. Your patience is highly appreciated here.
gyan000 Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 Hi @Manish Chokwal It's an excellent news ! I'll check the release notes with the next update and will give you a feedback here - if there's a fix for this issue in the next release of course. Thank you. 1
gyan000 Posted October 8, 2021 Report Posted October 8, 2021 Hello, Ok, I found out that if I go to Settings -> Web-browser -> and check the option "display elements for hostnames which match exactly" it works as expected. So I consider this issue solved. Thanks, 1 1
damienp Posted October 8, 2021 Author Report Posted October 8, 2021 Hi ! For me this option "display elements for hostnames which match exactly" has always been enabled. However it seems that I fixed the problem by simply playing with the "filter" and the "sort" options that are in the search field and the results list... So the issue is fixed for me too! 2
