July 30, 20241 yr I have now also switched to ‘Bitwarden/Vaultwarden’ and host it myself in my Proxmox environment. no response is just crap...and the public beta has been released long enough to test it with your own software if you don't want to use a developer beta
July 30, 20241 yr What about the escalation? When can we finally expect a fix? There isn't even a beta yet. @Amandeep Kumar Edited July 30, 20241 yr by Kevbert

August 3, 20241 yr @Kevbert this isn't an airport, you don't have to announce your departure. But I don't understand why you updated to a beta (public or developer) if you weren't prepared for things to be broken. That's the point of the beta, so find and identify problems with the OS and apps you use. It sounds like you updated your main computer - that's a bad idea. You should update a secondary computer for testing, if a piece of software being broken is going to be a big deal for you. The other option is to downgrade if you find something that completely blocks you. But instead you've gone for the antagonistic, aggressive option of bullying the developers of this software.
August 3, 20241 yr @timtjtim No, I don't HAVE to tell anyone that I will be using other software - I know that! And yes, I've been using betas on my main devices for years, and for good reason: to test what wouldn't work in the production environment. And I also know that bugs WILL occur. I have been using betas for many years. But what is not possible in my eyes is, 1) that it takes WEEKS until a simple fix is delivered. 2) the "developers" hardly respond to requests 3) do not even provide a beta for testing This has never happened to me in all these years. And that's a real eye-opener in terms of how customers are treated. 1Password, Bitwarden/Vaultwarden and others can do this simple feature just a few days after release.
August 6, 20241 yr Author Also in DB5 still the same problem and no Enpass Beta yet. When may we expect that?

I received the following reply: "We apologize for the inconvenience caused! We would like to inform you that a correction will be made in the middle of August 24. " I've already switched to Vaultwarden selfhosted Works like a charm.. Edited August 6, 20241 yr by Kevbert
August 6, 20241 yr I have the same issue. I want to keep using enpass instead of some new apps for me. So, please fix it!
August 7, 20241 yr We have released a fix for this issue in our beta version. Please check and update using the following link: Enpass Beta. Let us know if you continue to experience any problems.
August 7, 20241 yr Author Working again here, thanks! Funny enough I downloaded from the beta page, after installing and opening another update popped up. Installed that one to before testing.
August 7, 20241 yr I can't find "enable 'Beta Updates' from Enpass Advanced Settings". I am using Enpass Lite. OK, I have found the error. The beta was installed parallel to the old version. Everything is working. Thank you!!!! Edited August 7, 20241 yr by PixelNik
