When I visit a page that requires login, i click the enpass icon's browser extension and it gives me the recommended item, then I double click it to have my credentials filled for me. I'd suggest that the password item(s) show up as a single clickable items that can be activated by only a single click rather than a double click as it is currently implemented. Regards

  2. I'm a new user for Enpass and so far I like it but I'm bothered with one issue: Using the Windows 7 client software, I've set my unlock period for the maximum time that the program offers, 59 hours, since it's only me who use the computer anyway & I'm not worried too much by security. The issue is that the Chrome & Firefox extensions don't work the first time I launch these browsers giving me error messages & informing me to check the option "Enable browser extensions" - which is already checked! and the only remedy for this issue is to open the main windows client and unlock it myself on a daily basis which is kinda inconvenient to do it on a daily ba…

  3. Hey there. I'm currently using Enpass on both, Windows and Mac in Chrome. I'm used to use "cmd + f2" for auto fill since that's an easy to manage keyboard combination that doesn't force my right hand to leave the mouse :). That's what I was using in 1password, and I'd like to continue using that. Whenever I register *any* keyboard combination that starts with a "cmd" key followed by any "f" key, *all* cmd keys are fetched even if there's no additional key pressed. So right after registering "cmd + f2", I'm no longer able to use e.g. "cmd + f" for searching. If I e.g. register "cmd + ^" (which gets displayed as "cmd + `" in the extension configurat…

  4. Hello! It looks like Autofill is not working when using the Samsung Internet browser which is the preinstalled and default internet browser on newer Galaxy smartphones (S7, S8,...). Because it has a lot of optimizations for Samsungs Galaxy phones it's the preferred browser on Samsung devices and much faster and less battery consuming than Chrome. So it would be really great if you could give us autofill support for the Samsung Browser. Are there any plans? They even have some built in extension capabilities that allow third-party plugins to access the web page content (meant for adblockers and stuff like that..). Maybe Enpass could even integrate with that?

  5. [Edit: I just realized that this might better be sorted into the Feature Requests forum. If so, feel free to move this topic there.] Hello. I have been watching Enpass and its browser extension for quite some while, and I am finally planning to make the switch (from a combination of KeePass2 and the PasswordMaker browser extension). To do the latter part, the move from PasswordMaker, I will have to heavily rely on the auto-save feature, and I plan to record my logins over a number of days during the transition. However, as of the current version (5.5.6), auto-saved logins are put into the most recently selected folder. Which means that I have to search fo…

  6. Hello, First, sorry for my bad english, I will use Google Translate from the French. I was using Keepass, but I wanted a simple, user-friendly, cross-platform manager that allows me to use automatic filling easily on Windows and Linux. I installed Enpass, which is very well done, and I installed the extension for Firefox. Before passing completely to Enpass on my 2 systems (Windows - Linux), I do the test on Linux, but the automatic filling does not work. My configuration: Linux Mint 18.1 Firefox 52.0.1 64bit Extension Enpass password manager 5.3.4 Enpass 5.5.2 Could you tell me if this is normal or if I have to do something specifically to make it work? Thank you …

  8. Started by Dragon R,

Hello, When using a Windows 10 computer and chrome, how does Enpass fill the fields? Does it use a virtual keyboard...or maybe copies it to the clipboard for a split second...or maybe uses javascript....or something else? I am trying to understand how susceptible it would be to a keylogger vs Keepass or Roboform. I understand if someone has a keylogger on their computer that other programs can likely have a gateway to get the information anyway. I am trying to understand, so i can make a judgement call of what to use based on the facts. For example...the short route I drive to get my mail is unlikely to be benefited by a seatbelt...but i stil…

Hello, I came across an interesting topic that was closed without replies to other browsers being able to fill popup windows. Any ideas to how the others can do it? maybe they are less secure and used the clipboard to get around it? Thanks

  10. Taking a quick browse through the code for the Enpass extension for Chrome and it looks like it's using the chrome.storage.sync property to store the option for the shortcut. While this makes it convenient to sync across devices, I have a few different devices that I'd like to have different shortcuts on, and with the sync property being used it changes it automatically on every device. Could you make it an option to instead use the chrome.storage.local property instead? That way I can set the correct shortcut for each devices without overwriting the others. All it has to be is a simple checkbox with the label "Sync across devices?".

  11. In the user guide for android, there is a screen shot of a button to select to switch to the Enpass KB from the default KB. I am using a Samsung tablet and I do not see this button. Is there another keypress method to set the Enpass KB, or do I have to open Settings for the tablet and do it there?

  12. Please add a 'copy' button to the password generation section in the browser extension. Right now there is only 'Refresh' and 'Fill and copy' but for sites where the password field is not automatically detected, there is no way to copy the password and paste it manually. The work around is to open the desktop app, add a new login generate a password there and manually copy it into the password field. You can try it yourself at https://www.playgroundsessions.com/login I have also had this problem at other sites but dont remember the address.

  13. Dears, the issue that is described in similar topis is still existing on Firefox (latest, 53.0.3 (64-bit), MacOS 10.12.5). And workaround is the same - disable verification in Preferences I believe this should be solved rather than work around btw: great job guys - one of few programs I proudly paid for ;-)

I have noticed that the Firefox addon isn't as updated as the Opera and Chrome addons. The last update to the Firefox one was back in January for multiprocess but the release notes for the addons has received more updates since then which Firefox still has problems with. When I had signed up for this forum, Enpass never asked if I wanted to save the password. It only does for 75% or so of the websites I sign up for. Another bug that is fixed in Chrome but not firefox is the "Fixed a minor issue where Enpass was prompting to autosave login details even though no password field was present on that page." I also noticed that the Chrome addon is a version highe…

  21. Hi there! Being a long term Android user I now have to deal with an ipad for my work. Installed Enpass but unfortunately (as far as I read) autofill is only possible for Safari, right? What about autofilling Chrome on iOS devices (see Lastpass e.g.)? Thank you very much!

  22. When logging in to a Mastodon instance (example https://mastodon.cloud/ ) the autofill always puts the 'username' into the 'email' field (also replacing existing content, which is annoying). My Enpass entry has both 'username' and 'email' entries and the form element has the following html: <input aria-label="E-mail address" class="string email required" autofocus="autofocus" placeholder="E-mail address" type="email" value="" name="user[email]" id="user_email" /> I'm guessing the either name "user" or the id "user_email" is keying it to the username field. Perhaps the type attribute can be used as a filter (or better trigger?) It would also be usef…

  23. Hi, I started today using Enpass as my first password manager (Windows, Firefox extension, Android). My first impression is very good but I found a use case using the firefox extension where I got stuck. If I regulary change my password (or even once) and I'm ask to insert the old password insert the new password repeat the new password How can I insert the old password entirely with Enpass? I do not like copying from the extension to the clipboard (security reason) but this would be possible generally. But my first use case was to change the password on ebay.de but the password fields (and especially the old password field) does not a…

  25. Started by Heiko,

Hi, since I have to manage multiple AWS accounts, I need to use the advanced Login screen which has a 3rd field on it: account (id) username password I'm running enpass 5.5.2 with the browser extension on chromium browser on a arch linux system. Enpass didn't recognise the login page, so I created multiple entries with the URL and username/password myself, which works great so far: On the login formula I click the extension , get a list of all the accounts I created and click on it -> the username and password fields are filled correctly. However there is the third field which need to be filled aswell. I created a custom f…
