Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hi, my mail provider switched to a two step login process. Frist you have enter your mail address then click on a 'Continue' button (or hit Enter or Tab) and then fill-in the password. Similar to the Google login. I didn't found a solution to tell Enpass the new way how to login. In KeePass(XC) you can create a kind of workflow how to login: {USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER} Has Enpass a similar possibility? Hello! First of all, thanks for Enpass, this app convinced me to drop 1password. The problem is one ... I have health problems and use the virtual keyboard. When I call the extension popup window in Chrome and try to enter something, it loses focus and closes. With 1password this did not happen. Win 10 pro 1803, Cent Browser, Comfort keys pro 9.0

Hi gang. I came over to Enpass from using LastPass for a long time. One thing that LastPass did perfectly on iOS12 was autofilling. Whether it was a website or an app, LastPass could figure out what I was trying to fill in and find the correct entry. With Enpass, it NEVER works. When it brings me to Enpass I always need to search for the entry. Is this something I could do to my database to ensure it works like LastPass did? Or is this just some bug or something? Thanks!

Hello, Enpass is great stuff. However, since a week or two it wouldn't work with Chrome. The normal behavior befor was: When creating a new login (like for this newsgroup here) Enpass would ask wether it should create a new entry, a password etc. When using an existing login Enpass would offer the respective password etc., at least by clicking on the Enpass icon in the Chrome toolbar. Now Enpass does not start at all when clicking on the icon in Chrome. Enpass only may be started by clicking on the desktop icon, and new elements, logins etc. have to be created manually. Hi, I'm a long-time user of enpass. Since a couple of weeks, browser extensions do not connect to enpass anymore. I reinstalled the windows desktop version and checked that the extension connection is activated. same problem on edge and chrome What can I do? regards

An odd case. We have a site using, simply, a username and password. On *my* iPad, Enpass correctly auto fills both fields. Nice. On my wife’s iPad, Enpass presents a message citing “use [sitename] with no username”. Enpass correctly completes the password. When I choose, instead, to search Enpass for auto fill, the same result occurs. To wit, completing the password with no username. (If one had prefilled the username, Enpass in this operation blanks it out.) It is to be noted, we share Enpass, appleid, and all that. After updating windows to insider build 17758.1 the edge extension was not longer installed. I tried to reinstall it with microsoft store, but it failed. Any suggestions what to do?

Hi Team, I already enabled AutoFill and I can use AutoFill with Android 6 (LG G5). Hi guys, i Use Enpass with Chrome Extension on Mac OS 10.13. I get a "Enpass Connection Error". After a while it could work again, but i cannot identify why. Reinstallation of the extension does not work. I use Version 69.0.3497.92 MAC OS 10.13.6 an the latest extension. Other browser work. I use SquidMan with an proxy server. 127.0.0.1 is set to be a direct connections in the SquidMan Settings. lsof -i:10391 shows connections from Enpass on Could you please help ...?

Hi, since some days the Browser Extension for Google Chrome does not work any more (Chrome-Version 68.0.3440.106, Windows 7 Enterprise). When clicking the icon simply nothing happens. I already tried to re-install and clear cache etc. but the problem is still there. As the Autofill function for a password-manager is an essential function it would be perfect to get support to make it work again! Best Regards, Frank

In the Enpass Chrome Extension for Windows 7, there is an option / toggle called, "Allow access to file URLs", which for me, and by default, is set to OFF. I can't find any information on this option in the manual, or searching the forums. What is this option for? What does it do? See attached screen shot below.

Hello, I was reading and towards the bottom of the thread it said this feature would be released in BETA 6.0. Did it get released and I just don't understand how to use it or is it still on hold? A reminder of the issue - Many websites have 3 fields that have to be populated before access is granted to the website. My favorite example is https://www.aa.com it asks for username, last name, and password. When I run my auto fill against aa.com my username and password are populated but the lastname field is blank. I have insured that my last name is in the Enpass record for aa.com. Could a dev or admin perhaps provide an update please?

The version of Enpass for Windows 8.1 is useless! This is what my Enpass screen looks like. There are not drop down menus, side bars etc etc. I've had to manually enter all the passwords, it doesn't sync and auto fill when I need to log into sites. I can't back up - no right hand menu remember. The share option through email doesn't work. I can't change the all lower case spelling in places, I can't 'add new' and then choose a folder to file it under - always has to be the other way around. The visual icons are out of date and limited. If I recall when I tried speaking to the help desk I was advised I need to upgrade my computer or Windows version to 10 …

Hi there. I'm trying to login on a website which has (for some reason..) the login fields on the left (email, password) and a registration form on the right. When I use the chrome extension to automatically fill in the form, it fills the email/password fields in the registration form. Can I define which field on a website I wanna use? Or maybe an idea: prioritise the fields from the current field which is active (so the current email field where I clicked on).

Hi, I just migrate my passwort entries from Password Depot to Enpass. At Password Depot I had entires at the URL field which are pointing to local computer folders on my PC or my local network with different drive letters, like P:\install\data\programs\office\user\. With Password depot it was possible to open this link at the Windows Explorer, with Enpass this doesnt work. The link is displayed as a URL, but a click or double click doesnt open it, olso via the right click dialog "open" nothing happend. Only if i copy ant past the URL into the explorer works. I am running Debian linux and use Enpass Extension for Google Chrome what has happened to me twice now in past week is that the extension when clicked on comes up with nothing (I have pulled up the normal login websites, clicked on the extension button,, and get an empty screen whereas it had always recognized my login sites) I have tried removing the extension and reinstalling it,, checked for enpass updates,,, hell I even reinstalled my operating system ... nothing has worked.. I am at the point now where I am starting to look around for another password manager.

Enpass is working perfectly in Firefox, but in MS Edge it's not doing anything. Nothing happens when I click on the symbol. The enpass desktop App is running in the background, and extensions are enabled in the settings. What can I do?

Hello, at the start of the PC, I have the possibility, in the options, to ask for the request of the masterpassword in order to start Enpass. After that, Enpass is unlocked. I would like to have the option, for sensitive items, logins, Credit Cards, to ask for a new request of the password. Thanks for your help and sorry for my english !

Hi I just started using enpass. I filled in some passwords and am really liking its Interface and pretty much everything else about it. Is Enpass supposed to Auto-Fill my account-info without me doing anything except opening up the login-page? I tried Auto-Fill on reddit there it didn't seem to work. Hi! I installed Enpass on my desktop (Mac OS X Yosemite, Firefox Quantum browser), but it is neither auto-recording nor filling in logins. I added 2 logins manually to Enpass but still doesn't activate and fill in the fields. It seems like a stand-alone application that doesn't interact with the browser. What am I missing?

Hello, The Edge extension gives an 'Enpass connection error' in the latest Windows 10 Insider build 17704. I am using Enpass 5 from the Microsoft Store. Just giving you a heads-up, I will give an update if it starts working again in the next Insider build. FYI, I tried the Enpass extension for Opera 54, and it works fine. Thanks, Asmit

With Firefox ESR 52.9.0 the shortcut and autofill are not visible/working anymore :-( . I cleared Firefox and tried to reinstall the extension from the Enpass website, but it says that it is not compatible with 52.9.0. Any suggestion how to fix this?
