Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hello, I noticed that when I use keyboard shortcut or click on Enpass extension icon in Chrome then after choosing login its details are filled in in the page's form but Chrome focus is lost and I have to click the browser window in order to be able to submit login using keyboard. I found the issue has been reported previously and reportedly fixed but it stills occurs on my machine. Best regards, Piotr

Hello! I have the following problem: Whenever I click the Enpass extension icon for the first time after starting Chrome (doesn't matter if Enpass is already unlocked or not), the small Enpass box is just flashing up for a few milliseconds. I have to click it for a second time to make it stay visible. After that everything is fine until I restart Chrome -> same thing again. Any suggestions?

Feature request: Auto-copy TOTP code With any site/login in Enpass that contains a stored TOTP seed, auto-copy the TOTP code after user/password has been auto-filled, so that it's ready to be pasted when the next field, a TOTP field, is very likely going to be requested. This is something a couple other password managers do and it's a nice time saving feature.

Autofill for Windows Applications Hi, First time post. I was wondering if Enpass will autofill windows applications. For example, our company uses BillQuick and we have to log into it daily (have to enter our UserName and password) to update our working time on projects. I am currently using StickyPassword, which will autofill and auto login to the app, but my license is about to run out and am considering changing my password manager to Enpass. Does Enpass autofill windows applications to allow auto logins?

Public "extension" protocol? Hi, is there somewhere description of protocol used by extension to communicate with Enpass. I'm using LuaKit as browser on Linux and I would like to use Enpass with. I understand, there is not "too enough" of users of this user, so you will not focus it. It is not "rentable" for you. I would like to write extension by myself. Chrome extension not working Hi, I am running the enpass app on linux ubuntu 16.04 using the chrome extension. When I click the enpass icon in the extensions area (top right corner), I get the following error: Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension. Now of course I have tried this, and I am sure that it is all enabled. I've tried, clicking and unclicking + redownloading the app.

Chrome Extension Watching Clicks Hello, I've been using Enpass for a few months now and have been very please (bought it almost immediately via the smartphone license). However I have found one annoyance. I do web development full time and noticed that Chrome was constantly warning about click handler's taking some 300+ms. I ended up realizing it was the Enpass extension that was taking up a huge majority of this time (~70ms after disabling the extension). What exactly is Enpass doing with such click events? I've moved from 1password which has a very polished solution, Enpass is close behind but not quite there. I would like the extensions to work like 1password when a web page has credit card inputs for it to allow a stored credit card to be filled in. This doesn't work in Enpass from my testing.

On my Android phone I see a notification for autofill if I am on a website with logins. But if I tap on this notification the Enpass app opens up but I only see "Kein Treffer" (Nothing found). I am using Chrome on Android 7.0 (Galaxy S8) with Enpass latest official version and also on latest BETA version.

Plug-in fails since last FF upgrade (55.0.2) Just upgraded Firefox yesterday to 55.0.2 on Windows. Enpass plugin no longer works since then. Symptom : when clicking on the Enpass button, a brief window is opening in Firefox (disappearing quickly), reporting a "Access Denied! Error 403" message (see attached snapshot). Hi, PROBLEM: When you open Chrome extension in Windows, and type in search query, Enpass will display filtered list fine. However, when you close Chrome extension, and come back, it will still display the search query in search box, but items are not filtered anymore according to that query. HOW IT SHOULD WORK: When reopening extension in Chrome for Windows, it should not remember search query, UNLESS you are on the SAME page where you just opened it. Vivaldi 1.11 Support Hi, I am using the enpass chrome-extension with my vivaldi installation on ubuntu linux. I read that this should work, but it doesn't in my case. I enabled the browser extension, disabled the browser-check option and tried to start vivaldi after the start of enpass. If I click on the enpass icon within my browser a new tab shows up "Enpass Connection Error [...] make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" [...]". I am unsing Vivaldi 1.11, enpass 5.5.6 desktop (Linux) and the Chrome browser extension 5.4.3. Thanks for you help :-)

Chrome Ext never works Apologies if this has been posted a million times, but feel like I've got to ask about it because it's continuous. Using Enpass on OSX with the Chrome extension and it seems to continuously not work. I don't know how often it is, but it seems when I go to Enpass preferences that "Enable browser extensions" is unticked. Just wondering if there's a reason for this or if it's a pattern. Does the connection stop working when Enpass or Chrome are updated or is it just random? It feels like it's broken multiple times per week

Recent items Hi, I'm using the FF extension and it seems, that the list of recent items isn't updated correctly with the items I used at last. Especially when I type something in the search field and choose an item of the ones that are found, this one doesn't appear in the first place in the list of the recent items. Hi, I'm unable to found a means for autofill this web page : EmployerD - Desjardins with Enpass. And in addition, there is 2 step for access, the first is the "User code" and "business code" and second page is for enter the password. Because i'm unable to use Enpass (and Lastpass) with this website, I'm forced to copy/paste with my text fil (notepad++). I tried many thing but never succeeded. Any idea? I just installed Enpass to have a closer look on the functionalities. Looked really good at a first sight. But when I tested the browser extensions, I noticed that I was never asked to save the login credentials for a new website. Even if it's configured in the settings. I'm using Firefox version 54.0.1 as a 32-Bit application. If this feature won't work, I can't use such a solution.

I am a new user and have just now installed Enpass. If I close the Windows app Enpass I can't use the Autofill in Chrome. So it seems the app needs to be open all the time? If yes, is there a way to minimize it to the small icons instead of the task bar? I am coming from 1Password and there is no need to start the 1Password app on Windows. After start of Chrome an mini icon hidden in the task bar is shown. Is something similar also possible with Enpass?

Hi all, a couple of days ago I started to test Enpass. On the first day I added a few logins into Enpass and everything worked fine. While adding a couple more logins today I realized that some websites aren't working as supposed. On these websites Enpass is unable to autofill the login credentials. I'm sure this has probably been suggested before, so I apologize if this is old hat, however after my initial experience attempting to use it with Chrome in Windows 10 I can say that it's simply too clunky of an experience to recommend it to non-technical users. My suggestion is that the Chrome extension be redesigned to function as a standalone extension, not requiring the native app to be installed or running. I'm sure there are technical limitations to be addressed, and maybe they are insurmountable, but for the average user it will never become a replacement for competitors like Lastpass until it works this way. Recently upgraded to 5.5.7 and my Opera browser extension has stopped working. I have done this. I have tried thee extension in Firefox and get the same behaviour. I have run the same upgrade on my home PC and it is working correctly.
