Hello, I'd like to make Enpass for Windows available for our clients at university to install on their work computers using a software deployment solution like Microsoft SCCM. For that I'd like to know how I can convince Enpass to install and uninstall silently, that is to say without any user interaction or user interface. I need to know the parameters I'd have to pass to the Enpass installer to perform such a silent/unattended installation. Kind Regards Sven

I reinstalled Dropbox and Enpass gives an error at startup now: "Unexpected Error: Enpass has stopped working because of some unexpected error. ". Reinstallation does not help. How can I run Enpass and specify its path to the database file?

When entered a new user/password combination on a known website, Enpass asks you to either "Create a new entry" or "Update an existing entry". When selecting "Update an existing entry", selecting the entry you want to update, and then clicking "Update", Enpass does not update the password in the selected entry! This is especially bad when assigning new passwords because they will they lost after the 30 second clipboard clearing delay. I wanted to rectify something here because we are at a time where conspiracy theory need to be challenged. Lastpass doesn't store the credentials. Lastpass have been subjected to many challenged since it was one of the first password managers and have even been subject to challenge from the blackhat community as presented here. How do works lastpass is explained here by independent expert. 1password is not more costly than other payed solution like dashlane which is very much alike.

Hi ! I am a happy user of the free enpass desktop app. I'm using it on windows seven x64 and never had problems. A few days ago, I found (security settings) that it is possible to add a pin code to "re-open" it quickly. Very useful So I inserted such a pin code and.... forgot it... Too bad. I had to close and re-open enpass to change my forgotten pin code. And then came a question : I don't want to "crack" or bypass the security but I would like to know where enpass does keep its settings ? in the registry ? in a particular folder ? Using Enpass portable on my Windows 7 PC. I installed the Addon - but still not able to get a auto fill to work in Firefox (v 59.0.2).

First off, using Enpass portable - but I dont see a forum for this version. I have imported my Last Pass logins. I would like to import my Splash ID passwords as well - but I dont see in the import process that I have a choice where they go. Is having 2 separate groups (Last Pass & Splash ID) possible? Or maybe is there a way to have 2 user accounts/profiles on the USB? If not, then will add that as a Beta suggestion.

Hi, I am currently testing Enpass and I am highly interested in purchasing the mobile version, if the sync is working fine with my Synology NAS. I want to two-way sync my database with all the devices, which I want to use Enpass. I activated WebDAV on my Synology and it's running The Synology user which I want to use for sync has read and edit permission When I try to connect it says (translated from German) "No connection to the given WebDAV-folder could be established". The problem isn't solved! I get the same error AFTER installing the Chrome Browser Plugin for Enpass.... I don't use Enpass at that moment when the error appears... but Enpass is started and minimized to tray. The error comes up round about 4 - 5 times per day. Kind regards!

There are multiple/many EnpassHelper.exe processes running. The process doesn't end after I quit Enpass application. I don't know what EnpassHelper.exe does to help troubleshoot. Enpass Desktop v5.6.5

hi, im coming from another password manager and mostly made the change due to the lack of a clean iOS-App. So using the free Windows PC version I ex-&imported my old db and was happy that everything works as it should. I bought the iOS-App and it too works like I imagend it to work. My main usage happens with my work notebook: I quickly noticed that I often have to re-enter my passwort (which security-wise is not bad) and came to the great idea to maybe use my fingerprint reader to unlock my db. Hi, I use MS Edge and installed now Enpass from the Windows-10-Store. But why can't i change the location / folder for the database and backup files? In the other typ of Enpass (not supporting Edge?) i can change the folders... Thank you AL

Hi Guys! I'm new here. I installed Enpass v.5.6.5 on my Debian 9 amd64 with KDE 5 but sync not working with my user. When i choose an cloud (anyone) the browser open without link for authorization. I tried with root (sudo in CLI) and in this way the link to authorization is on browser. I tried Enpass portable, from oficial Enpass Debian/Ubuntu packages and from default Linux (Other Linux). How I can use my user (not root) to do this? Thanks for any help!

Dear Devs, its really annoying that the individual window size which I set is not being saved/restored in some instances (sometimes). I dont know on what it depends but sometimes I start my PC/Enpass and the window of enpass is small again. Not the size I expanded it to. Can you please investigate it? Best regards Monk

Hello, Win10 Pro Enpass Desktop 5.5.6 Firefox 59.0.1 I have installed Enpass 5.5.6 through the windows store. Downloaded and installed the EnpassNMHost.exe. The Browserextension is activated in Enpass Desktop, but I get an Enpass Connection Error: "Enpass extension is not able to connect with the Enpass app. " when calling the Broserextension. The Browserextension in Edge and Chorme is working. The Winuser is a Standarduser, no Admin-account. Any Ideas? Thanks Roman

When I click the browser extension, nothing happens. It used to work, and I think related to upgrading Chromium/Chrome. Enpass 5.6.5 Enpass Password Manager 5.5.2 Chromium Version 65.0.3325.162 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 7 64-bit

The new Portable Enpass 5.6.5 works on the latest Windows release 1709 but won't run on the latest Insider Preview 17120. It tries to start and then is stopped. I haven't been able to determine what is stopping it, but I can see the initial window display and then disappear.

Would the next desktop version has the following features? 1. printing report function, which provides the offline hardcopy backup solution. 2. Add a windows hello support, to provide "No Password Environment". 3. Add an option to disable to show password feature by press the "eyes" icon, it is because has a security problem when doing action with the other people in front of computer.

Is there a way to delete duplicates? If not would it be possible to export then use a third party script/app to remove duplicates? Or would doing that wreck the file stucture? Thanks

I am a Chinese user and using Windows 10 built-in Chinese input method. When I try to unlock Enpass, I always need to switch to English input method, otherwise I will type chinese characters. So I hope Enpass can force using English input methos automaticly when I want to unlock it. Thanks.

Running Enpass 5.6.5 on Windows 7 (firefox and Vivaldi Browser with enpass add on) I realized that my memory was eaten up by literally hundreds of Enpasshelper.exe processes. Each process consuming slightly more memory than the previous one ending wihth 100MB per process. The number of processes exceeded the number of browser tabs by far and the problem worsent over time. After a fresh boot everythings was normal , after half a day the number of processes built up and consumed the memory. I assume some relation to 5.6.5 as I could not see this behavior with the version before and/ or to the browser add on (vivaldi with enpass chrome extension, which I started …

Dear Devs, I want to report a small issue with Enpass 5.6.6 (5125) Windows 10 Store Version. If you get your PC out of Standby the sync icon is constantly spinning. See attachments please. Only restarting Enpass (completely closing and re-starting Enpass) fixes the issue. My Sync-Options: WebDAV (pcloud.com / https://webdav.pcloud.com) Besides the issue above I have no problems at all with the sync. The data is synced perfectly! Thank you and best regards Monk

Hi I have a new copy of Enpass 5.6.5 and using Firefox Quantun 58.0.1 (64) on Win10 pro. I have it open and in "new Item" ..its taking me a few minutes to get the info and before I am ready, it simply closes the New Item. So I though maybe there's a time limit.... I then did the same process but this time, when I didn't have the info ready, I clicked Save. It seemed to Save but there was NO item saved. I did a search,expanded columns..no item. So I thought maybe some fields cannot be empty. I tried it again but this time I just typed random letters into the fields I had not finished..then I saved it and...guess what ..no item again... …
