It is a nightmare since I get the version 6.0.x of enpass. I lost a lot of time to make it run on Ubuntu. 1) I had a segmentation fault if Enpass is not ran as root. Solution was to create a script to initialize some envirronment variables (see bashScript.png, solution found on this forum in several threads). 2) To be able to sync I also had to update the desktop shortcut in /usr/share/applications/enpass.desktop. Dropbox sync with the Linux Enpass client has stopped working for me for a couple of weeks. Don't get any errors in log. It just doesn't sync. I've tried to disconnect the vault from Dropbox, but didn't work. Nothing happened. So, then after I backed up my vault, I tried to uninstall, remove my old vault and settings manually, and then reinstall. But when reinstalling it still won't sync with Dropbox. Dropbox sync still works for me between other devices (Windows and android). Not sure what to do to fix this. Distribution: Fedora Linux 36 (Workstation Edition) Enpass version: 6.8.4.1167

On Cinnamon and KDE DE (both running on Fedora 24) whenever I have a notification (any notification), if I click this notification Enpass goes to foreground. Are you aware of this issue? This is very annoying to be honest. Enpass version is 5.3

Hello, I am working on Linux Mint 20.3 (Una) which is based on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (Focal Fossa) and my Enpass application constantly crashes. The Linux kernel I'm using is 5.4.0-122-generic and the desktop manager is Cinnamon version 5.2.7. I have already submitted a couple of crash reports. Can you give me any help?

As you can see in the screenshot, in the Brave browser in Ubuntu 20, you can see that the Enpass app overflows beyond what is viewable. As a result, I cannot accept the connection request prompt. Let me know if you need more info.

Hello, I think should have a symbolic link on /usr/bin/enpass which points to the runenpass.sh script so people could start Enpass from console.

Gnome in version 3.26 removes legacy system try. From this time the system try icon of enpass isn't visible in any way. If I use topicons plus extension or appindicator extension to gnome shell it isn't visible too.

Hi, I'm using Enpass mainly with Vivaldi on Manjaro Linux. I can't use Enpass integration in Vivaldi anymore. Whenever I request filling in a credential using right-click menu and select Enpass the small window from Enpass providing a selection of credentials shows up for a fraction of second and disappears again. Same happens when I try to establish a browser connection between Vivaldi and Enpass. This is happening since some time, so is not limited to the versions below. Good day, On my Linux (Manjaro/XFCE) desktop, the main Enpass (6.3.3) main window is always on top of other windows. I find this quite annoying, and I'm wondering if there is a way to stop this (cannot find any setting for that). To be clear: I'm not talking about the assistant here, but the main window. Has anyone tested if using Enpass for Linux on ChromeOS Flex works across the whole OS? Putting Flex on my laptop and missing my password manager on it is going to be a pain.

I used Enpass on 1 machine, and have now installed it on another one. I would like to use the database of the 1st machine, but have not found a way in the settings to do so. I use Enpass version 6 on both machines which are Linux. Please advise.

Hi, since version 6 (I guess), enpass plays a little sound when logging in. My audio server is Pulse Audio, and playing the sound creates an entry in "pavucontrol" (Playback), which is always "QtPulseAudio:XXXX: QtPulseSample-XXXX-YYYYYYYYY" where XXXX is the PID of the enpass process, and YYYYYYYYYY some random number. Problem is, after the sound has played, these stay there, and pile up after logging in several times. I suspect the application does not close the stream properly when it is finished, that's why it stays there. I'd appreciate if this could be fixed, and the entry removed after playing. Thank you!

Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS 5120x1440 cinnamon/bionic,now 4.2.4-1~bionic0 amd64 enpass/stable,now 6.3.3.601 amd64 The program does start up to a resolution of 3840x1080. Setting the native resolution to 5120x1440 just puts a CPU to 100% for about 2-3 minutes until the process gets killed by something. No window, no logs, no output. Sometimes a huge white window appears (see attachment) that is unrecognizable and if I look at the task plane, a window titled "Enpass Crash Reporter" with an input field seems to be active somwhere out of bounds. Hi. I am using Enpass on Fedora with Gnome desktop. Since today, I can't launch Enpass. I'm not sure where something broke up. I tried to uninstall Enpass by using the EnpassMaintenanceTool and reinstalled it but it didn't change anything. When I try to run Enpass executable from command line, I get this message : ./Enpass: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I've got a libcrypto.so.1.1 in /lib/ but no 1.0.0 I guess it's a problem. New user here. I am starting to use Enpass and when my Lastpass Premium subscription is going to expire I might buy mobile apps too. On desktop I run Fedora23. I have a couple of questions. 1. Where is the database file located? I could not find in the folder where I have installed Enpass. 2. Which is the command invoked by Enpass when backing up? My System: Enpass 6.6.0 (775) - Debian Bullseye I had taken over the data from an old installation (restore) The path to automatic backup was there: / media / KOMM / Enpass6-Beta / Backups /. This directory no longer exists. I am unable to change the directory. The manual says: If I do that, it will have no effect. The old path remains. Is there any other way to change the path?

Hi, database migrated from KeepassX, can access it with my passphrase. When logging in, enpass is either started from start menu or when restoring previous session (tried both constellations). When I enter my passphrase, it is stated as wrong. When killing enpass and restarting it, I can enter my passphrase and it unlocks the DB as expected Any idea why the enpass that's started upon user login is not able to open the DB ? Many thanks

I'm using Enpass on Ubuntu 17.04 with KDE. Enpass is automatically started on startup using the KDE autostart. On every boot, Enpass shows me an error "Sqlcipher driver not found". The same issue happens whenever I start Enpass from Latte Dock. But it works when I start it from the KDE application menu. In case of the KDE autostart, Enpass is started using "/opt/Enpass/bin/runenpass.sh startWithTray". If I execute that directly, it works.
